Nice hotel. Very clean and well kept. But if you don't look like you have a million in the bank (just got off work, construction worker) you get treated as if you were a P.o.s. Besides that great

Door molding in bathroom was partially missing and the rest gouged up. Bathmat was ripped. Melted chocolate on furniture.

Very nice hotel close to Barrington Il

Cons: staff could be a little more friendlier and welcoming. there does seem to be an attitude among the employees that needs to be addressed. More positive
Location: did not have time to explore area but i did see the Barrington pond park nearby which i wished i had known about for a nice walk.
Large comfortable room with microwave, frig and Keurig coffee maker. Nice community spaces which i used a lot with my family. Nice fitness room and pool/ hot tub which i used and enjoyed. Staff was nice but not really friendly. food in the restaurant was excellent though no a la carte breakfast (just 2 levels of buffet) and the small market area was very limited and not stocked well with healthy items like yogurt, granola bars, etc. But nice place to stay and reasonable rates and close to the village of Barrington.

Our breakfast buffet offers eggs to order or skilets, pancakes as well as french toast to order. That is all included in the breakfast if you purchase the hot breakfast. Comfortable

Pros: It was clean and the staff were courteous & helpful
Cons: More comfortable beds and open for lunch
Location: AMC & Restaurant about 1/2 mile across a very busy road that had no crossing at lights. Need a car to get anywhere.
Hotel was nice & comfortable. I was there for meetings during the day. The food facilities were not open for lunch until third day, salad & soup and without a car, there was no place nearby. A/C unit was very noisy and bed hard as a rock.

Nice hotel...a few quirks

The location was great, right off of the highway. There was a significant amount of construction, but that didn't impact our stay. The ice machine on my floor was out, I complained twice...then they turned it on and it made a loud beeping noise, I complained...then they just turned the machine off instead of fixing it. The front desk staff was never impressive, they met minimum required interaction skills and I always felt as though I was bothering them. Good rates and a decent location for my needs.

This room was not worth $100. The walls were thin, which is rough for a light sleeper. Our air conditioning unit was noisy and leaked on the carpet. The breakfast that cost $10 was basically eggs, bacon, and pastries. For dinner, $9 buys you 5 sad little chicken wings. It is really close to the interstate, so yhat was the highlight of our stay. Close enough to Schaumburg to have some place to shop. Really could have done better for the same amount of money at another hotel.
