Nice hotel close to the Midway Airport

Pros: Room was large, internet was fast and the airport was close.
Location: Close to the airport is a benefit. Friday's is 100 yards away. A few restaurants within 3-4 blocks.
Clean comfortable rooms, free internet, airport shuttle runs every 20 mins. If you are driving a car, there is more than enough parking. The sports bar is nice with an attentive staff and good menu. I was attending a trade show at McCormick Place and there was free bus service to and from the convention center.

One Direction/5 Seconds of Summer

We booked this hotel at the last minute to take my daughter to see One Direction & 5 Seconds of Summer. At check in the counter people did not know what to do. We had our confirmation from Expedia for our room showing that it is paid for & it included breakfast for the next morning. No info about breakfast & told me that I needed to give them a credit card but did not explain why. My son & I got our room which was nice. We then went to pickup my wife & daughter from the concert & my wife asked about the breakfast voucher. I told her we didn't get one. So when we arrived at the hotel another person was there and helped us out on the breakfast voucher which he didn't know why we didn't get it when we check in the hotel. The next morning we got our bill which we shouldn't had one since we paid Expedia but they charged us for the room again!!! We had to go to the front desk again & a new person was there & couldn't believe it. She was friendly & said that she would reverse the charge. Hopefully it will be handle soon!!

Nice rooms close to airport.

The staff was super and the room was very nice but the pool was a big disappointment.

Decent hotel near Midway A/P.

Normal Holiday Inn, nothing stood out as either bad or good. The temp in the room was difficult to adjust. Otherwise, it was just another ok hotel.

Quality and convenience

I was unsure about booking a room so far from downtown where my conference would be held. But the hotel's free and frequent shuttle service and helpful staff made the commute so easy and smooth that I found it almost enjoyable. All good things to say about the condition of the rooms, the restaurant/bar downstairs, the location, etc.

Great trip to the windy city. However, the food is not good at coach, the in-house restaurant

Unhappy

I always feel like i am an unwelcome guest when i rent through hotels.com and not the guest of the hotel. I rented a double bed and was given a handicapped room. I was pushed through the line quickly while others were given time and respect.
