“The doggy motel”

We were not happy to see people bringing their dogs into the hotel - alot of people. They not only brought them to their rooms, but to the breakfast area, where they say on people's laps and licked the tables...disgusting. Even though there is an upcharge for people who bring dogs, we would have liked to have known this ahead of time. The rooms were clean. The breakfast areas was gross. The food was not good and the coffee was terrible. We will not come back. The only good thing about this hotel was that is was a good location for our visit.

“Very Impressed”

Hotel looked new, everything fresh and up to date. Granite counter top in bathroom & one in the main room. Everything was clean. Mattress, pillows and linens were top quality. The complimentary breakfast selection was the best I seen anywhere. Enjoyed the flat screen tv too.

Area recommendations

Palatine, IL had good restaurants and festivals with live bands. Schaumburg nearby has Woodfield Mall.

“I'd love to stay there again!”

I really enjoyed my stay in this Hotel. The breakfast was of the favorite part of it. Rooms were always clean, and the Hotel employees were always friendly. I loved it.

“Would definitely return”

Everything was very clean, neat and sharp looking. We were able to change our room to one with two double beds with no problems. The free breakfasthad lots of choices. The only complaint I have is that when we checked in there was noone in sight so I was standing there for a few minutes waiting.

“great place to stay in the Chicago suburbs”

My wife and I visited our son, who recently moved to the Chicago suburbs. The hotel location right by the highway was very convenient and easy to find, yet we weren't bothered by highway noise in our room. Clean comfortable room, great breakfast, great price...we'll be back

Area recommendations

Our son recently moved to Arlington Heights, and I needed to attend a conference in Chicago, so my wife and I decided to add a couple of vacation days and spend the week in the area. The Holiday Inn Express in Palatine was very easy to find, right off the exit from Illinois Rt 53, and was just a few minutes from our son's apartment. We had dinner at Jameson's Char House, just across the highway on Dundee Road--great relaxing atmosphere, excellent food, reasonable prices, awesome service. We also saw that the downtown area in Arlington Heights is a delight--clean, upscale, lots of places to eat within a block of the commuter train station.

“Best budgeted franchise hotel near Downtown San Francisco”

Compared with hotel in downtown San Francisco, which are more expensive than the rate I paid in this hotel. For a family of 4 adults in two double beds room, slept comfortably and hotel is convenient to where I was planning to go. It's a good deal to me.

There was nothing especially noteworthy (good or bad) about this hotel in the areas of service, rooms, or location. The hot breakfast that was provided in the morning was good. The most notable thing was that this hotel is connected to a full equipped gym, which you get access to free of charge as part of staying in the hotel.
