Not impressed! LOUD fan and lack of conveniences.

Pros: The location was the best thing going for this hotel.
Cons: Put in a switch for the bathroom exhaust fan. Put in some vending machines, get more help at the front desk, improve business center.
Location: The location was great! Easy access, plenty to do nearby. Minutes from Great America and Gurnee Mills Mall.
This hotel was a disappointment. The hotel rooms were small and the lack of conveniences were surprising. I knew there was no free breakfast... but it goes beyond that. There was no fridge or microwave in the room (you could rent one for an additional $20/day). There were no vending machines (other than for soda) so you had to make purchases in the front lobby. However, this took about 15 minutes - because the front desk staff always seemed to be on the phone and did not acknowledge the line forming to purchase snacks or water. There was a small business center - right in the main lobby - no privacy at all - and only 1 of the 2 computers had a printer hooked up. In the room, the bathroom was very small with no counter space. The exhaust fan in the bathroom ran constantly and was LOUD! We had to keep our bathroom door closed or the fan was too loud to hear the TV and kept us awake at night. We are not light sleepers.... this fan was just loud. The hotel appeared old/rundown.

decent hotel very close to everything

Pros: room was very clean
Cons: mold on walls toward pool area.... pool area could have cleaner... some one to stock towels at all times
Location: great location near everything six flags, shopping, and dining perfect location
overall my stay was good.. at first I was upset because I was traveling from mass to Chicago .. I kept calling hotel to make sure I would have a room before check in time. one of the staff member told me one will be ready around 1:30 so I arrived at 2 just to hear no check in before 4... I spoke to a supervisor and Jennifer made sure we were in .. other then that my stay was good..

Hotel staff was ok, nice people. I had a problem with WiFi connection and had to call to the reception, she told me it was expected to have problems with connections as they were packed and maybe everybody was using the service (unacceptable to me but it happens, I know), I explained it was not the case since I was able to connect but the PC was not prompting for access code so the connection was limited, she told me she'll look into it and put me on hold, after a minute she just hung up. I was upset and concerned since I had to work on my laptop and y was about to write a bad review but a few minutes after someone called and helped me troubleshoot and I was able to connect. Room was clean but AC leaks so it was kind of smelly. Very good experience during breakfast. Fast check-in/check-out.

Nice hotel close to Six Flags

Staff was very helpful. The pool is awesome! Does not provide complimentary breakfast. Buffet looked good but I felt was pricey.

Great for the price

Pros: Staff was very friendly and answered all questions upon arrival, the room was larger than most King size rooms I've stayed in.
Cons: The pool area is a bit run down looking.
Location: Across the street from Gurnee Mill Mall and just under a mile from Six Flags Great America (our reason for staying). Very close to Target/Walgreens.
This was my nicest hotel stay for a room under $100 a night. Good location and friendly staff, spacious room that felt clean and updated.
