Holiday Inn Gurnee Convention Center

When I arrived in my room I noticed that there was some brown "stuff" on a couple of my pillows and that my bathroom had a bit of hair on the floor. I expressed my concerns to the staff and they went above and beyond to address them. Sometimes challenges allow you to best observe the level of customer service a place has to offer and I must say that overall, I am quite pleased.

the service was great and the hotel was very nice the room were very clean. I met all my expectations.

We booked our hotel through Hotels dot com. They could not find our reservation at all. After 10 minutes they found it, That night when we were sleeping they gave a copy of our key to another couple who attempted to walk into our room around 11:00 pm. That was aweful it was a good thing we had a chain on our door or the people would have walked in. The front desk then called us twice after that and hung up. My guess is to see if there were people staying in our room. It completely ruined our anniversary. We were exhausted the next day from being woken up. The pool had a kids party in it so we could not relax in it. The hot tub was drained. If you are booking with them make sure to check that everything is working and whether there is a kids pool party during your stay as they rent it out for parties. The only comp they gave us for interrupting our anniversary was a free breakfast.

Very clean rooms, comfy bed and pillows, shower head pressure was good. Only gripe I have is the toilet is so loud when you flush it. It's a very loud whoosh!

Clean and well maintained property. Asked for two keys, received one, sure enough my one key was demagnatized after the first day of my two day stay and I had to go to the front desk to fix. No do not disturb sign in room, called front desk and asked for no service. Came back to my room later in the day and it had been serviced. None of these are huge issues but it would be nice to know that I am not wasting my breath when I ask for things.

Stayed 4 nights and had 2 days of ice cold showers, called front desk for over 30 min to report problem and nobody even answered the phone

`i was here to celibrate my new girlfriend's birtday and everything was geat. from the surprise that we had the spa in the room to the location to having everything w/in 10 min of the hotel.. thx

The staff was very friendly... did not include cont. breakfast... my husband and I never get away just the two of us without our toddlers so we were looking forward to using the hot tub. We made sure the hotel we booked had one. When we went down to the pool, the hot tub was out of order... bummer! We were looking forward to it. Probably would have stayed somewhere different if we would have known piror to checking in.
