Very well located

Posted Aug 2, 2015
Pros: Cleaness
It was very well located! Inside the Loop. The Grant Park, The Millenium Park and the Art Institue of Chicago were very close. Most of the people who were staying there were young but there were also families with children and high-age people thus this hotel is very good for anyone, it has a very young environment.

ダウンタウンの便利なホテル

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: スタッフがとても親切で、知りたいことに何でも答えてくれました。
Cons: 特にありません
Location: Wilis tower

Two nights in a Hostel

Posted Jul 23, 2015
Pros: above
Cons: above
Location: The location was near to many tourist activities, churches, and eating places in Chicago. It was very nice to get discounted tickets to the Sky Deck.
My stay was pleasant because all the women were pleasant with whom I stayed. Breakfast was super with a view of the "el", an interesting achievement in Chicago. The bathroom was handy with everything that one would need. I would have appreciated knowing ahead that I would be sleeping in a room with others and that we would have bunk beds. I did not realize what "standard room" entailed. I would then also like the opportunity to request lower or upper bunk.

Friendly staff and helpful with directions to local landmarks and suggesting the best restaurants. Facilities good for the price. Free breakfasts a plus. Close to all the local landmarks. Nice stay!

Cleaning staff are not nice.

Really need to consider installing "pirvavy curtains" for bunkbeds. This would provide customers with an opportunity for uninterrupted sleep, as other room mates come in, tirn on lights at all hours of night and dawn.

A Future Hostlinger

Posted Jul 15, 2015
Pros: Like most about this hoteling was very clean and secure as well as good price point.
Cons: Let people know if they would like wash clothes they may want to bring their own
Location: This hosteling sits in the hub of downtown Chicago know as the loop with plenty to see and do easy access to public transportation, or just walk.
I was very pleasantly surprised by this charming personable place to stay while I vacationed in Chicago Il. I think that I possibly have discovered a jewel. I found this hosteling to be vibrant with a very welcoming atmosphere. I stayed at Hi Chicago for 3 nights and met so many interesting people over the coarse of my stay. I shared a room with 7 other wonderful young women, now I myself and my traveling partner are in our early to mid 50's and we would not have traded being in a mainstream hotel for anything given the enriching experience we had interacting with the young women we met while staying at the hosteling. The guest staying at the hosteling were of all different ages overall and very culturally diverse which made it all the better. This place is located in the hub of downtown Chicago with plenty to do and most within walking distance along with easy access to all different modes of public transportation. Oh did I forget dining, well do I really need to go there after all this is Chicago I'm talking about I was there during the Taste of Chicago the largest food fest in the country if not the world. This hosteling is just about 21/2 blocks from Grant Park where the festival was held. Let me end by saying when in Chicago I would stay here again if any availability.

Place to crash after epic concert

Posted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: location, price, clean, safe
Location: This is located a mere block from the parks district, so Shedd Aquarium, the Field Museum, Soldier Field are all nearby.
I had given up hope of paying less than $350 for a hotel near the parks/loop district after a last minute ticket to the Grateful Dead concert on 4th of July weekend, when I found this hostel. Is it 5 star? No. If you need privacy or have a lot of luggage, this is not the place. However, if you just need a place to crash while you're out living it up in Chicago, this is the place for you. Clean, welcoming, perfectly situated and amazingly priced for its location. Oh, and they have late check in until 3am! I would definitely stay here again.
