Great hotel over a fabulous restaurant.

Posted Feb 20, 2015
Pros: Location , Staff , atmosphere , cleanliness, and tall ceilings.
Cons: no need
Location: Only had 1 day so not much chance to explore, but close to shopping streets and subway.
Warm and welcoming on a cold windy Chicago day. Quite central to shopping arteries and convenient for subway. Hotel staff very welcoming. The restaurant below is fantastic, had dinner and breakfast there.

Didn't expect the Blake to be that nice

Posted Feb 15, 2015
Pros: Vintage yet modern.
Cons: Less Greek in the restaurant.
Location: Close to Union Station.
I wasn't expecting the Blake to be as nice as it was. Certainly better with more character than a Holiday Inn at the same price.

Nice hotel with excellent cafe

Posted Feb 12, 2015
Overall a nice place. The cafe in the hotel was wonderful and convenient for breakfast and evening dessert. The only drawback was an unpleasant older in areas of the hotel and a slight musty smell in our room which dissipated once we turned the heat up.

Nice hotel in city center

Posted Feb 9, 2015
Pros: Atmosphere, discrete, clean
Cons: It's all good
Location: A bit west of the city center but close to loop, dining etc...
The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside but once in the lobby, you feel it is secluded and precious.

Great hotel, centrally located

Posted Feb 9, 2015
Pros: Great location, great room, centrally located.
This was my first time at this hotel. I have stayed at a few others in the area, this is one of the nicer ones. My room was huge, King bed with 12' ceilings. It was only a few blocks from the train, and Michigan Blvd.

Great hotel

Posted Feb 4, 2015
Location: Hero Coffee Bar is located kitty corner to the hotel and is a great little coffee shop
I was in Chicago for a conference and really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Blake. The staff was kind and courteous and the room was beautiful. My only negative (and it is barely one) is the fact that there was only one small wastebasket in the bathroom and no recyling bin in the room. I would definitely stay here again.
