Pros: price and location
Cons: small rooms. No shelves or drawers for clothes
Location: attached restaraunt is very nice for breakfast or dinner. Godfrey lounge on the same street

Disappointing

Firstly, the hotel isn't a 4 star. Although the General Manager will undoubtedly reply to my feedback and correct me, telling me that in fact it technically *IS* a 4 star hotel, it does not seem like one - if you've stayed in 4 star hotels anywhere else in the world, you'd agree that hotel Felix has the services and facilities of a 3 star, not at all what you'd expect from a 4 star. The hotel is energy efficient, which is great, except that it’s not really energy efficient - they seem to use this selling point as a way to excuse their lack of common amenities and services. There’s no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, no fridge and we had to ask numerous times for our soap, shampoo and toilet roll to be replenished. The hotel is a boutique hotel, which basically translates to ‘the rooms are super SMALL’ As well as being small, the rooms are not soundproof. If you’re lucky enough to have a small child staying in the room next to you (as we did), you can look forward to being kept awake until the early hours by the sound of crying. Other than the child, we could hear guests making video/phone calls - we could hear the person on the other end too. On the plus side, the location is great and we got a good deal on the price of the hotel. We wouldn't stay here again though. Staff seemed nice, they let us check-in a couple of hours early which was a big help as we'd flown in from the UK.

Clean, comfortable rooms a few blocks away from the main shopping strip. Comfortable, with a nice atmosphere in the lobby bar, and a solid French influenced restaurant adjoined to the lobby.

Great Hotel Close to EVERYTHING!

Pros: It was clean, quiet and central to shopping and sightseeing
Cons: hmmm .... maybe room size? bathroom size? I can't really think of anything else.
Location: Lots of great shopping, eateries and sightseeing!
We had a great stay at Hotel Felix! It was a nice and clean boutique hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. It is also located in a great area, in walking distance of most things we wanted to do. I would definitely stay here again or recommend it to a friend.

Good hotel. The room was a little small for my liking. There was about two feet to the wall in each direction around the bed. I was there by myself to it wasn't that bad but if two people were in the room it would be a tad cramped. The bedding was extremely comfortable, my back feels great. I liked the location and enjoyed the surrounding areas. Hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating.

Pros: everything nice hotel
Cons: may be move the hotel closer to Michigan ave and REPLACE ALL STINKING HOTELS THERE
Location: shopping, eating, visiting, drinking
great hotel, usually the hotels in chicago stink all of them expensive and poor service and do not care for the clients, Felix is great, they said hello to me upgraded my room, gave me drinks and chocolates.

Pros: Location, staff, on-site restaurant and bar.
Location was great - we walked almost everywhere! Staff was friendly and helpful and cheerful. Only problem - our room alarm clock was left on after the previous guests, and went off at 4:45 and 6:00 a.m. our first morning.

Pros: People were very nice.
Cons: Expand.
Location: Great location in River North.
The hotel is every convenient location-wise in River North. The room was tiny. Bathroom was tiny. Internet came and went (bonus that it was free though).

Pros: It has quite a nice vibe and feel to it. The reception staff were very helpful when I lost my key card.
Cons: The rooms only had really thin bedding, meaning that guests had no choice but use the noisy air conditioning all night, reducing sleep quality.
Location: On the edge of the downtown area but near enough to get where you need to go and very near magnificent mile.
This was a great place to stay without too much hassle. The location was very good for getting to my downtown conference venue as well as some sightseeing. Staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel had quite a lot of services given it was relatively small. The rooms were well decorated. The only downside was the fan / air conditioning and lack of warm bedding.
