We have stayed here in the past. Our experience before was excellent. It just wasn't the same this time.

Ok but....... Mold in bathroom.

Posted Jul 10, 2015
Pros: Great location. Easy walk to L and to Michigan ave.
Cons: Cleanliness. Mold in the shower along the caulk. No excuse for the quantity. Makes you question other areas. Typical maid staff slamming doors
The overall quality just wasn't what I would expect from an Indigo hotel.

Clean hotel

Posted Jul 10, 2015
Cons: parking
This hotel was conviently located within walking distance of Lincoln Park, the L and the loop. Lots of eating places and coffee shops nearby. Room window faced south and had a nice view of the Chicago skyline. Food and drinks were quite pricey. Parking is valet only and cost $47 per night.

Nice clean hotel near heart of Chicago

We enjoyed this artfully decorated hotel. It was central to public transportation and great for shopping. Great safe area. Valet parking. Stayed as a family vacation.

Family vacay to Chicago

Posted Jun 26, 2015
Pros: Decor and spacious rooms.
Cons: A friendlier staff would be nice. Every other place we visited had friendly people and helpful staff, but not the Indigo.
Location: Starbucks nearby, Chicago Q restaurant was next to Starbucks and yummy.
Upon arriving to the hotel after a very long road trip, the registration person was not friendly at all, she couldn't even crack a smile. Very disappointing since this was our first Chicago human interaction. The lobby was beautiful, but had a horrible smell, and that lasted the entire stay, so we did not try the restaurant or bar area. Once in the room, we were very delighted. Lovely decor, clean and very spacious. We did need more linens for our family and the staff was very prompt about taking care of this request. We parked our car in the car in the garage next door ( $47 a day) and got around the city on foot, and tour bus. Starbucks just up the block and good restaurants walking distance. Great vacation!

Overall, good.

Unique property/rooms. Great location...lots to do/see/eat in the area. Check-in pretty smooth, but pricey valet ($47/night). Most of the staff was friendly/helpful, aside from restaurant ?manager? (he wasn't very professional towards customers or restaurant staff). Overall, the Expedia deal/price was a good value for this hotel/location.

Our room was quiet, comfortable and clean. Alvin and Hassan made our breakfast a pleasure every morning. The staff is very accommodating and the hotel has a nice location.

Not worth the price

Did not clean room day 1. Ran out of t paper and tissues. Liked shabby - peeking wallpaper, scuffs in paint.
