Easily locatable hotel in downtownPosted Sep 9, 2014
Cons: 1. No complimentary breakfast buffet may be provided. 2. flexible early checkin options (for travelers arriving in mornings)
Location: Good location though not many restaurants nearby.
a) Good hotel b) priced a bit on the higher side, especially for weekend stays; Probably there are better priced higher rated hotels in downtown c) No complimentary breakfast; It is preferable if breakfast buffet is provided. d) Early checkin options (for travelers arriving in city at say 6.00AM); or flexible checkin checkout options could be considered as special case in off-peak seasons.

Perfect place to stay in Chicago. Near Navy Pier and several small neighborhood restaurants on same street. Wonderful neighborhood of brownstones and shops, felt very safe. Would definitely stay again!

Our first visit to Chicago was made perfect by this lovely hotel. Within easy walking distance of the Magnificent Mile. Excellent restaurants close by. The staff at this wonderful hotel were fantastic. They were knowledgeable and helpful. Cannot recommend it enough.

Beautiful Area of ChicagoPosted Aug 25, 2014
The hotel is located in the Gold Coast area of Chicago. Most attractions are within a 1 and 1/2 mile walk north or south. The Red Line subway/"the el" is only 3 blocks away from the hotel and taxis are easily obtained. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We arrived in a terrible storm, and were greeted by the doorman with an umbrella. The bed linens were plush and comfortable. My teenagers enjoyed the free cookies and candy. I recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good place to stay with a inspired and deco.Posted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: The deco was remarkable. The staff gave us a good service and took care of us coming from Canada and speaking french language. They were very careful
Cons: Maybe to serve lunch should be a good thing to get. But we appreciated a lot our stay there.
Location: Hotel situated near by downtown to get by foot, bus (trolley) or metra. There are many good restaurants near by as well. Good for people like us.
We enjoyed a lot our 3 day stay at this hotel. Room and hotel very clean. Special deco giving you a goof feeling to get back again. The bathoom is pretty small with toilet and shower. The beds are very comfortable. The room is pretty large as well. They serve sanswiches and breakfast downstairs good for hurry people.

Quiet, in nice neighborhood, safe to walk around.Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Loved the neighborhood and the friendly staff.
Cons: Earlier check-in would be nice. Somewhat pricey for value.
Location: Close to neighborhood restaurants, shopping, park, waterfront, and just 4 miles from Wrigley Field.
Eclectic hotel, somewhat dated, but in excellent neighborhood. Close to nice restaurants. Great area to safely walk. A nice refuge in the middle of the city.

Nice hotel not far from downtown attractions.Posted Aug 3, 2014
The hotel was nice, however we were awakened to drilling and repairs being done in the room next to us quite early in the morning and the room was quite close to the noise of guests loading the elevator. It would've been nice if the bathroom had was a bit bigger and had a tub.
