Hip, but not uncomfortably

A hotel for those who like things with a hip feel. Not perfect, but very friendly and comfortable in a convenient location - not far out of downtown and with great views from the busy roof-top bar. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Great location; bikes available for rides along the lakeshore; friendly, upbeat staff, great neighborhood.The zoo and park are right across the street, and the zoo is free so you can just drop in if you like.

Very comfortable

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Location: We loved quick stroll to a super coffee cafe that offered free wifi. It was a five minute walk to Second City Comedy Sketch Performance center.

This hotel is in the Lincoln park district in North Chicago. Our stay lasted 4 days and we loved every minute. It offers very good restaurants on premise including a roof top bar with a fabulous view!

Pros: Everything.

We booked a family vacation and absolutely loved the location, right near the lake, the zoo and Lincoln Park. The hotel is a perfect combination of gracious and fabulous. Don't forget to check out the secret drawer with tootsie rolls at check in, the roof top bar and Perennial Virant serves up a unique and delicious menu. I will definitely recommend to my friends and you should as well!

Retro jewel in Lincoln Park district

Pros: Great coffee shop in lobby along with fabulous restaurant called Perennial Verant and rooftop bar with awesome views of Lake Michigan and downtown.

Cons: Slow elevators.

Location: Adjacent to Lincoln Park Zoo and park offer splendid walking potential.

Extremely cool and retro in a great part of town with easy access to Lincoln Park Zoo and neat shopping district nearby that's great for walking.
