Close to Northwestern Medical Center

Pros: Free Internet & Wi-Fi; nice flat screen TV; stereo clock radio with iPod dock; lemon-grass hand soap was a nice touch; king size bed very comfortable.
Cons: No fan in bathroom and the tub didn't drain as well as it should
Location: Miracle mile is abundant with shopping, galleries and restaurants.
I booked this room in Chicago as soon as I realized my daughter-in-law was in labor with my first grand child. We were looking for some place close to Prentice Women's hospital downtown off Chicago's Miracle Mile. The rate was good, and unlike some of the other major hotels in the area, they offered free in-room Wi-Fi and wired Internet. The hotel used to be a Four Points by Sheraton, and still had one of the signs up above the entrance. Heated parking garage gets you into the building on the 3rd and 4th floors of the hotel. Parking was $50/night for guests, but you could come and go as you please up until 6pm the day of checkout. That allowed us to check out and still spend some more quality time with our new grandson. There were so many places to eat close by that we didn't drive anywhere until we left town. There is a nice sushi restaurant in the building and another next to Thai consulate along our 5 block walking route. The hotel staff also provided a list of restaurants from memory, based upon our direction of travel. They were very friendly and helpful.

Very nice hotel in a prime location. Had everything we needed. Walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. This helped save money on transportation too!

Excellent location to shopping and dining. Although the room was for 6 people, it was a bit too cosy. Great staff. Definitely would return.
