This place is located in a nice, residential neighborhood near Loyola and Little India. The room was okay, and the location was nice. We were able to find street parking for free and it was not scary to leave your car on the street. The room was clean, but a bit cramped. The TV was tiny, but no big deal. The shower pressure was not good, but overall, the place was fine. The only thing I didn't appreciate was a somewhat hidden fee. When you book in Expedia, you are unaware that there is a COVID fee for the place. When you get your paperwork, though, it is there, so I'm not saying it isn't there. It says it is $32, but when I calculated everything, it ended up being $22.39 (??). So, if you are booking this place through Expedia, add at least this amount to your total. Another minor thing. You are charged not only the COVID fee, but a damage deposit of $150. The contract (which you see as you arrive) says that will be refunded to you within 7 to 10 business days. It was refunded about 20 days later (minus a few non-business days in there). No biggie, but I don't like surprises with fees (I learn about after comparison shopping) especially with Expedia. Would I say not to stay here? No. There are some good perks. Since it is a B&B, it has a kitchen area with freebies like cereal and bagels and such. We didn't need any of that, but that doesn't mean it wasn't nice. It is more like a boarding house, so you will hear people in the halls and such, but overall, fine.
