“Nice Hotel, Small Pool”

This is a nice hotel & convienent to Michigan Ave and American Girl Place. Parking is expensive ($49/nt extra), but that's probably normal for this area. The only problem was our in-room coffee maker did not work. Clean comfortable room, Very friendly staff. If a pool is important to you, be warned the pool here is very small.

“Great Chicago Hotel”

The Wyndham was a great hotel to stay at for me and my family. The hotel was conveniently located to several of Chicago’s main attractions i.e. Hancock Building, Michigan Avenue and Navy Pier. The hotel was also a short cab ride to the other attractions in Chicago. The staff at the Wyndham was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to all my family and friends traveling to Chicago.

“Excellent Service, Great Place to Stay!”

Everything about the Wyndham is top-notch & classy, without the high-class snobbery. From the moment you walk in you feel like a real guest. Only 2blks east of Michigan Ave - about 10 min walk to American Girl. Russell, the head concierge is the best customer service person I've ever met at a hotel. He will make sure you are completely taken care of during your stay. If you want to go on any cruises, or want to eat at a particular restaurant, check with the concierge first. They can book cruise reservations (on the river or the lake) for you in advance, so you don't have to stand in line; and they can give you a priority seating voucher for a restaurant. When it is as crowded in the city as it was during Labor Day weekend those perks made all the difference in the world! There is a corner bakery across on St. Clair that has great breakfast panini's! There is a 7-Eleven 2blks south on St. Clair that is going to save you money if you think you'll be tempted by the mini-bar in your room. The Wyndham is a beautiful hotel - try to get a corner room, it is really spacious! The beds/pillows are very comfortable. By far the best customer service I've ever had at a hotel. Will definitely stay there again!

“Great location!”

We were so impressed with our complete experience at the Wyndham. The hotel is beautiful with simply designed rooms, comfortable beds and exceptional service. The valet staff are so awesome and friendly! We requested a lake view through Expedia and were surprised to have our request honored. We will definitely stay there again. The package with a buffet breakfast and valet parking WILL save you money. The breakfast is actually quite elegant for a buffet.

“great deal and location”

Self park nearby is cheaper than valet parking - can get a discount if you mention you're staying at the Wyndham. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was huge! Location was great and had no problem getting around everywhere we wanted to go by walking.
