Nice hotel close to attractions

Posted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: I liked the location of this hotel. Very close to attractions.
Cons: I would update the rooms as they are looking and smelling a little dated.
Location: This hotel over looks the river. There is shopping nearby and we walked to the aquarium, field museum and Soldiers Field.
Upon arriving at the hotel we were promptly attended to and given early access to our room which happened to overlook the river which was quite nice. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our visit. The room was a little dated, but served our needs. I would recommend this hotel :)

was okay...honestly prefer staying at the Marriott

Posted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: nothing stood out...problems with room TV...too difficult to manage remote, no card describing channels
Cons: TV and remote, provide paper TV channel descriptions
Location: location wonderful...across from the River Walk, beginning of Mag Mile...yjey say its location, location, location
Just an okay experience...location was just okay; staff attentive but nothing exceptional; room location adequate not great, no free breakfast but location near a restaurant was okay

Chicago weekend

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: It's location near everything people come to Chicago to see and do.
Cons: Get rid of the silly WiFi charge of $9.99. The room cost should cover this minimal expense.
Location: You can walk 1/2 mile to the Navy Pier, or a mile or so to local parks, the Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, Planetarium, or Willis and Hancock buildings
Spent a lot to get a great location so we could walk to everything we wanted to do. Paid $20 extra for a great view of the river and lake near the Navy Pier. They're about what you'd expect for a high end facility, great staff, very courteous and helpful.

Great hotel for Chicago break

Posted Sep 7, 2014
Cons: Free internet in the rooms would be great.
Can't really fault this hotel. Great location, helpful, professional staff. Would really recommend Regency Club - very good facility for light breakfast and snacks throughout the day.

Great hotel in Chicago!

Posted Sep 6, 2014
Pros: Location close to river, Michigan Avenue, Millennium Park.
Great experience overall? Hotel was super, staff friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable, bed super. Only thing to be aware of is the view. We were in 3006 which looks on to an office building. If you are looking for a "room with a view" this might not be ideal.

The best hotel I've stayed in

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: The lobby area and the rooms - sleek, modern, comfortable, classy.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Excellent location right on the river, close to the Mag Mile and many other attractions.
This hotel did not disappoint in any way. Arrived waaaay before check in time (about 11am) after getting caught in a thunderstorm and they were able to get us checked into a room! Room was comfortable, spacious, had a decent view, and was just what we needed for our last night in town. The 2-story lobby, bar, restaurant areas were well-designed and fun places to look around or hang out in. The "Big Bar" had the best craft beer selection I've seen at a hotel.

Great Hotel near everything

Great experience, awesome lobby, would be nice if the fridge in the room had some room to put some of our own stuff in.
