The best location in Chicago

Posted Oct 28, 2014
Pros: Location, staff, room, bathroom.
Cons: Perhaps free internet?
Location: Well, that's the best location in Chicago, you can do everything in a walking distance, dining, shopping, go to parks, tour, etc.
This hotel is located on the heart of Chicago's downtown at a walking distance to all the major landmarks, parks, river, shopping, dining, etc. Very easy access to metro and train, couldn't be better. The room was fantastic, large, with everything you need. Staff very courteous. Nothing to complain, only good things! We really recommend this hotel, if you can afford to pay the rates.

Great Location with a great view outside

Posted Oct 27, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: More lights in the room
Location: The Art Institute and the Bean were nearby. Michigan Avenue was a short walk away as was State Street. Lots of good restaurants were a short walk.
Staff was very helpful from the parking attendants to the check in staff. The waiters in the morning were exceptionally attentive. We liked the hotel layout and the hotels ambience.

Noisy

Posted Oct 23, 2014
Mechanicals in room were very noisy.... sounded like a fire hose was dumping water on the floor above us all night. We stayed dry, so it must not have been a leak!

Great hotel!

Posted Oct 22, 2014
Pros: See above
Location: The location is perfect. It is centrally located and an easy walking distance to the Loop, Millennium Park and the Gold Coast with great views of the
I was very pleasantly surprised by how the Hyatt has changed. Not that it was bad before, but it now has a very modern, energetic feel. And the staff was terrific! Everyone I went there was a person asking me if I needed any help. I also really liked the market. The food was very good and the staff was friendly and responsive. They had obviously been well trained. Laura and Zemeia were terrific! We checked baggage and the gentlemen working that function were fast and courteous.
