Located in a quiet residential neighborhood just off i55, a 30 minute drive to downtown Chicago. Rather than fight the traffic, we chose to drive 4 miles north to Clarendon Hills and rode the train into town each day. I would highly recommend commuting by train, as it only costs about $10/person roundtrip, there are trains coming and going every half hour or so, and meter parking in Clarendon Hills was $1 per 4 hrs. Spend the day seeing the city, soak all night in your own personal hot tub yay!

The Ivy is close to everything yet on a quiet street. The property is very modern, love the flat (large) on the wall angles to the bed. Bathroom had his and her sinks separate bath tub and shower which I like. The rooftop bar was great. The only negative comment is that room safes that you can pick up and walk away with defeat the purpose of a safe. Everything else was excellent room furnishings stfaf etc

I loved everything about our room. We had the Chicago suite and were completely happy with our stay. Kitchen has snacks 24/7 free of charge and an amazing breakfast with delicious fresh fruit and pastries. Feels like you are at someone's home NOT a hotel! Only down side was the train but... Hey that's part of the city experience!

Everything was excellent except for the comfort level of the hostel. And I don't mean that the bed is uncomfortable. The bed was probably the most comfortable thing I've ever slept on. I was placed in a basic room with 8 bunk beds and I was on a top bunk. Now, I'm one of those obnoxious people who stays out really late. When I got in I was fully aware it might disturb the other gals' sleep and that was discomforting to me. Otherwise the experience, including facilities, were surprisingly satisfactory and a bit delightful. It's fun to wake up and talk to other people about their experiences.

My family and I were driving cross country from Maine to Minnesota. We were 20 hours out when we hit the travel wall. By some sheer freak of luck we ended up at this crazy indoor water-park resort. It was perfect for our twin 6 year olds. The park was fun, well organized and safe. Cleanliness was top notch and the customer service was a close second to what we experienced in Disney. The is a perfect family resort for those with younger children. We ended up staying for an extra night.
Amazing hotel with wonderful staff. Stayed there for 7 nights last week. Rooms and the rest of the hotel are beautiful. Added bonus were the chic bikes you're allowed to use out front for free to explore Chicago. Location is great, a walk away from everything. Would highly recommend. Only thing I could suggest is if they did transfers to and from the airport!
