“Chicago with common sense.”

Great new hotel. Very clean and safe. Many restaurants within two blocks in all directions. Cabs wait in front of the hotel and across the street at another hotel. Wish I could buy water and charge my room- as I consume two water bottles every day.

“Overall a nice hotel”

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, staff friendly. The location is very convenient, one block away from the opera house. The only complain we have is the noise from the vent. We turned off the a/c unit and the temp inside was at the perfect 70F degrees. But the fan noise (?) from the vent was on all the time, making the room a little more noisy than I would prefer.

“great bargain”

Great hotel for the money. would have been great if not for the flag outside of room 211. the flags are right outside of window. when the wind blows it sounds like construction. did not sleep well because of the noise.

“Clean & New”

The hotel was extremely nice and new. I was pleasantly surprised by this. I wasn't too sure about La Quinta before we went, but I'm now convinced they are a quality hotel!

“Perfect fit for our needs”

The location was ideal for us: a block from the opera house, five blocks from the symphony hall, and surrounded by restaurants and stores. Front desk staff were efficient and personable; we never had to wait to check in or out or to ask questions. Rooms were attractive and well maintained. Included breakfast had both cold and hot items, and the breakfast room was airy and light with large windows along two sides.

“Top Notch Service”

Our room was very clean and the staff was great. We arrived early and they allowed us to check our bags until our room was ready. Then again we were allowed to check our bags after check out until we left to catch our train. I cant say enough how helpful the staff was on a very busy weekend. I would highly recommend this hotel.

“Great Hotel for cheap”

Everything was great with our stay. Nice breakfast, swimming pool, and fitness room just like it was advertised. The room was well decorated and very spacious! Location was also great, sitting only a couple blocks from the Willis Tower and Union Station. Except for the only one window and no view, the hotel was great and a joy to stay.

Area recommendations
There is so much to see in Chicago, that you really can't limit yourself to one or two sights. Go see everything that time allows!

“Great Hotel and Great Price!”

Check-in was quick and easy and hotel staff was super friendly! Rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable! Rooms seemed newer and very updated and modern! I would definitely stay there again!!! Complimentary breakfast was great too!!!
