Built in the 70's and never upgraded!

Posted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: The convenience store next door was great! Had a Dunkin' Donuts so we could get a decent breakfast.
Cons: Update or at least thoroughly clean the rooms!
Location: Glad we were only here one night. Headed downtown for the Grateful Dead shows!
We arrived late due to a delayed flight and were told we could not get the shuttle. The cab charged us extra for a short fare? The room key didn't work and the front desk clerk was very crabby and told us we put it next to our phone. The carpet was very nasty and wrinkled. The pillows were lumpy. The continental breakfast was "corn flakes or cheerios". Would pay a bit more for a cleaner room next time!

dirty rooms, rude and greedy staff

Posted Jul 2, 2015
This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed. Room, sheets, towels, all were dirty, stained and smelly! Staff was very rude and greedy, all they think is get your money with no effort. Continental breakfast? Forget it! 2 different cornflakes with the cheapest milk, that's it.

A cheap, convenient place to stay the night. Treads a fine line between acceptable and sketchy. Overall not bad, but not good. Be aware that the shuttle leaves every 45 minutes and stops after 11:45pm.

A place you don't want to go to

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: Nothing, I liked nothing about this hotel
Cons: Everything.
Location: There is a subway and a gas station nearby.
So you say ooh free shuttle I don't have to drive in horrifying ohare traffic, you're wrong. First you call them, and you can't help but notice they can't speak or understand English. Shuttle is late even after calling and noticing them 4 times and after arrival driver decided to pick up other passengers after making me wait for over for 45 minutes. He has this paper on his shuttle saying "tip the driver, I appreciate the driver?" , redicoulouse. Getting to hotel, as expected they don't speak English enough to communicate, no hi how are you, nothing! Room was H-o-rrible. The hall ways smells like smokes. Room is ugly. Bed is a place to intensify back ache and ache your body if you enjoy aching. All the lights bulbs were burnt but two. Water pressure can be counted by drops per second. My cats litter box was much cleaner and fancier than their bathroom. And breakfast was basically craps, cheap craps they got from clearance items in dollar store. Do you really need to know more?

Was very disappointing , started from the check in time I was supposed to be in a non smoke room they put in a smoke room, they changed after I asked but still. Plus pictures here in the net doesn't really shows what it looks like, show a better place then it is .

For a one night stay it was just fine

Posted Jun 26, 2015
Stayed here for one night. Was not in the room much but it was fine. Comfortable after we turned the air on high. At first the room was warm as the AC wasn't turned on. No problems, though. Would stay here again.

Great for the price

Posted Jun 25, 2015
Went to a concert a few miles down the road and didn't want to drive home tired. Room is a little dated, but was clean. Staff got us checked in very fast. Had free parking, and free continental breakfast (don't expect a big fancy breakfast for the price) they had a couple choices of cereals, and cracker sandwich packs with whole, or 2% milk and had instant coffee/cappuccino/frape machine. Just enough to get your day started..... Would definitely use them again

Pros: None, Staffs are terrible and lie
Cons: Training or Learning to be Honest
Location: Nothing to do, location is great either
Have reservation on room for non-smoking, but we checking in first floor RM135 is a smoking room our kids could not sleep and cough due to smoking odor. I have verified with the staff, they confirmed me is not a smoking room, but than I asked the manager, she confirmed 135 is a smoking room, so the front desk staff guy is lie the whole time. They didn't try to make it right, the manager all she said is sorry, so I told the front desk guy, your manager said the room 135 is smoking, how could you said is not. He didn't said anything, just ignore me. I would never stay at this hotel again. The STAFFs are lie, to do anything to make money.

Vacation with friends

Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: Position right in the Loop on the river side.
Cons: Wifi didn't work on my phone (Qwerty) either in room or in the reception area. Though there was a business center I could use. Housekeeping
Location: Ideal location right in the Loop. Places to visit were at walking distance or reachable by subway. On Memorial day, the parade was a few steps away.
Good position downtown in the Loop: close to the subway and to many attractions. Staff was friendly, but not always knowledgeable. When the Concierge was not there, it was difficult to have information. We were told the room had a view on the river, but in reality it was obstructed by a parking building! We were 4 people and from the first until the last day, we were always missing a set of towels (we only got 3). There was no problem when we asked, though that is unacceptable: if you book 4 people in a room, there should be 4 sets of towels (and 4 robes). At check out we were asked about service and when we told about this problem, we just got apologies. Housekeeping service should be improved. Air conditioning in the corridors way too high.

You get what you pay for

Pros: The price
It's a piece of crap motel along a major road and I was given the prime spot with the most road noise.
