The O'Hare Hotel & Suites.

Posted Mar 2, 2015
Pros: Close to the airport. Eating areas close by. Shuttle service was a bonus. Price was within our range. Reception desk staff had good humor.
Cons: Having stayed only the one night makes it difficult to say. One thing for sure should not change, is the importance you placed on all customers
The shuttle pick-up from the airport arrived quickly, the driver was pleasant. The reception was pleasant, efficient and knowledged. Room showed signs of age, but were very clean. Morning snack was ample for us to start our day. Shuttle to the airport was on time, and again a pleasant driver.

Hostile front desk guys at night

Posted Feb 28, 2015
After 24 hour flights, I finally arrived at Chicago airport... it was very very cold and I called the hotel from a pay phone cuz I'm not a U.S citizen (1st time ever in USA) and for my surprise the guy at the front desk that night who picked my call, ended our conversation by hanging up on me after telling me that '' wrong number'' with a THICK Indian accent!! though he started the call telling '' O'HARE INN & SUITES''!!!! . All I wanted him to do was to send me the shuttle to the airport!! and it seems like ''wrong number'' is the way he fools the customers around. It cost me 40 $ to hire a taxi to the motel cuz I was dead tired and really couldn't try calling him again or wait for my turn to get the regular taxi. when I got to the hotel ., I found an Indian man (same voice on the phone) and when I told him that his inappropriate behavior cost me 40 $, he answered '' why 40?, it's only 14'' .. Not only he was trying to provoke me... he also assigned me to the dirtiest and most noisy room in the whole hotel. Really I had no power to argue w him.... but after I woke up I went to the front desk who gave me a better room and he was really nice. in a word, I'd like to advise the owners of this place to assign that indian man '' bald one'' to other jobs in the hotels cuz he really gives ur customers a very bad impression.

Convenience and price above all

Posted Feb 17, 2015
This hotel is close to O'Hare and they have a regular shuttle to ferry guests from and to the airport. This is also hands down the cheapest airport in the area (and one of the cheapest in all of Chicago). They also throw in a complementary breakfast so this place is the best value for money.

Needs to learn to read time.

Posted Feb 10, 2015
We were left at the hotel at 6:15 for the scheduled shuttle to the airport. The front desk guy insisted it was 6:20 and said it was our fault we were left. According to my phone, and every clock in the building, it was 6:15. The front desk attendant was incredibly hard to understand because his accent was so thick.

I wasn't the cleanest motel I've ever stayed in, but it will do if you just need to rest for the night. The rates were cheap, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Good for short stay

Posted Feb 4, 2015
Pros: Airport Shuttle
Cons: BREAKFAST!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just try to add Donuts or Bagels or fresh fruit
Room was neat. Staff is courteous. I feel this hotel is good for a short stay. Best part is airport shuttle. "continental breakfast" was funny. Just two sets of cereals with a coffee machine around. It would have been nice with at least few Donuts or Bagels or Cookies.

Decent Value

Posted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: It was Cheap
We had an overnight layover and needed a place to crash for a few hours. They shuttled us back and forth from the airport. Great rate but wasn't to pleased with the cleanliness of the room or the facilities. If it wasn't just for a bed to sleep in I would be greatly disappointed.

Second time is a charm

Posted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: It is a definite value if you want an inexpensive base to work from
Cons: The cleaning staff come before checkout even if you have a do not disturb sign on the door.
Second visit to this hotel. I was upgraded to a very nice king room. Inside facing is not so loud with the planes.

Reasonable quality price ratio

Posted Jan 18, 2015
I stayed at this hotel twice. It is very close to ORD and a shuttle vehicle is available on request. The price is reasonable and the quality you get for that is reasonable. The breakfast is simple (cereal, milk, and coffee).
