Well located alongside Magnificent Mile

Posted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: Location and comfort.
Cons: None
Location: Adjacent to the Magnificent Mile. Not far from where the Hop-on- hop off bus operates.
We stayed 3 nights and found the hotel to be an excellent base from which to explore the city. It has several restaurants nearby.

Great location, spacious rooms.

This is an ideal location for downtown access. Rooms are clean and spacious - beginning to look in need of a refresh. Service good - breakfast good, if a little on the expensive side.

Awesome holt great farm fresh food. Very unusual.

Cons: Taking 2 elevators. Was a pain. Registration area not impressive for such a nice hotel. Didn't see a gift shop either.
Location: Great location. Everything in walking distance!
Loved hotel. But didn't like having to take 2 elevators. Registration area should be more impressive. Loved everything about hotel

Awesome

Pros: The location was very good and the rooms were spacious.
Cons: The pool. See comments above.
Location: Walking distance to Navy Pier, Millenium Park, Hancock Tower, Shopping and dining.
We stayed 3 nights in Chicago and this hotel was central to everything and walking distance. The room and service was very good. It was very spacious. My daughter didn't get to use the pool as it was either closed or too crowded. It was also too small for the number of guests and it didn't look to clean - the only disappointment with this hotel.

Good location

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Stayed 2 adults and 2 children ages 13/10 booked bigger room with sofa bed and 2 queens worked out well. Good location for John Hancock centre and pier metro easiest for city art and went to white socks game on metro. Kids liked pool and gym in hotel. Recommend hiring cycles from along the river and then cycling south down lakeside. Car parking ultra expensive at hotel so we picked up vehicle for rest of our trip at Alamo downtown after checking out of hotel which worked out well

Nice hotel in the Heart of Downtown

Hotel is in a perfect location, Perfect for Shopping and Dinning. Short walk to many great city sights, or a quick cab to anything else on your list of to do's. Staff is always friendly and very helpful. On site restaurant has great food for dining in or room service. The Hotel is defiantly a great choice for the price.

Very convenient to all activities on MAG MILE.

I loved the king suite. It fit all my needs. The only negative was the acoustics. I could hear the people in the next room talking.

Staff excellent, room, eh...

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Staff, great check in and out.
Cons: Updated room
Location: EVERYTHING around.
Check in was very quick and staff was great. Our room was ready 3 hours early! My main disappointment was with the room for the price paid. The sliding door to the bathroom (which doesn't lock?) fell off the track and the room in general kind of outdated and slightly worn. To the folks that complain about ambulances all night, they're right! You have to remember though, ALL of the hotels in the Mag mile are going to hear the exact same sirens. Location was awesome.

Great hotel in the middle of all the action

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: The Omni is located in a fantastic location. Very close to shopping, restaurants, and attractions. Very clean as well.
Cons: Parking fees are crazy expensive. However, that is all of Chicago.
The Omni provided everything I was looking for with my stay in Chicago. I was there mainly for a work function, but being that it was so close to Michigan Ave, I was able to walk to many of the great attractions Chicago has to offer.
