Nice Chicago downtown hotel

Posted May 11, 2015
Pros: Excellent service, staff was concerned of our needs, always asking how can they help.Room was very clean.Hors-d'oeuvres and wine from 5 to 6 PM everyday
Location: Close to Hancock Tower, Michigan Ave stores, Navy Pier, Portillo and more.
Well located hotel, lots of restaurants, metro and train a couple of minutes away and if you like riding bikes, they have them available for free, they provide helmet too.

Excellent hotel in the centre of Chicago

Posted Apr 26, 2015
Pros: The pool at the 17th floor
Cons: Wifi
The hotel is excellent, with large rooms and quiet. It was possible to make the room almost dark with some fiddling with the curtains. I was in a work visit, and the hotel wifi network stops sharing or uploading large files without an option to over-ride, which wasn't great .

Pros: This was our first trip to Boston and we were pleased to learn that this motel is centrally located.
Cons: We think the bathroom could be upgraded.
Location: Boston Commons is one block away. The subway is across the street. The theatre district is three blocks away. Just a very nice hotel in a great loc
The lounge and restaurant are nice. Hotel staff are very friendly.

Great Location!

Posted Apr 5, 2015
Pros: The location
Cons: I never complain about the products, because you know that the hotel products wouldn´t be the best, but they where very BAD! You have to bring yours
I stayed 10 days in Palomar Hotel. The location is the best part, lot of restaurants, shops and the metro station is just in the corner. The rooms are large, modern and clean.

Hotel muy bien ubicado y muy cómodo.

Posted Mar 26, 2015

Great hotel

Right in the middle of our three day Chicago experience. The staff was very helpful and informative. Loved the outside heated seating. Nice warm pool and gym on 17th floors with great views, and don't forget to step out on the terrace.

Top notch hotel nearby manyattractions

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff with a clean and comfortable room.
Cons: Coffee maker in the room. On Sunday, I had to be somewhere by 8am but the restaurant didn't open until 8 on Sunday. Had to go elsewhere for breakfast
Location: This hotel is a short walk from Michigan ave shops, Millenium park, Theater district, Chicago 360 observation deck, tons of restaurants, River walk
I checked in on a Friday late afternoon. Check in was quick and smooth. Their daily evening reception was going on so I grabbed a complimentary glass of wine and headed up to my room. I asked for a room in a quiet part of the hotel since and they honored my request. The room was quite comfortable and spacious. I didn't have much of a view from my 15th floor room but other than that it was fine. I had a one bedroom suite with a large living room, comfortable enough for 8 of us to hang out before dinner. The staff was attentive from top to bottom which is what I've come to expect from Kimpton properties. All in all an excellent stay.

St Patrick's Day Parade, Chicago.

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: As above
Cons: The bar that is attached to the hotel was popular and plesant but the staff at the bar were not as helpful as in the hotel. They were busy though.
Location: Wonderful city walks. Beautiful river down to the lake. Big open areas and plenty of great bars. The music scene was fun and all that we hoped for.
We stayed in Chicago for St Patrick's Day 2015. The location of the hotel was very good. It was within walking distance from town and from Navy peer. The staff were very helpful and polite and did all they could to make our stay comfortable. The hotel facilites were good with everything we needed on hand. We had a great time in the City..... the sun was out all weekend which made it more delightful and the atmosphere was fun and relaxed.
