Park Hyatt ChicagoPosted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: Everything !
Cons: Small in Hotel gift shop for incidentals would be nice.
Location: Plenty of restaurants, sites , shopping etc. , are within walking distance.
It was a wonderful experience. I can only say one thing I would like to see improved. In both room service and restaurant menus , I would have like to see a couple of more regular food items. In other words, not quite so fancy.

great locationPosted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: service, location, restaurant, spa
Cons: rooms need updating
Location: food, business, shopping, culture, a lot, you are in the middle of it all
i stayed at many of the Park Hyatt's, DC being my most favorite one. this one, location is amazing, facilities are great, restaurant is great however rooms are old, old decor, old bathrooms and you feel it is old, looking at all new hotels in chicago, they need to do something. room is comfortable however does not give the same feeling as in DC or Tokyo

Nice hotel okay locationPosted Jun 26, 2014
Pros: Staff were friendly.
Cons: Gym facilities
Location: Hancock building was very near by. Great views of the city and lake from the top. Good pizza restaurant just across the road.
Would have preferred the hotel to be more central. Nearer to the river area. The room we were given was for a disabled person I think. The shower didn't work properly. We overlooked the terrace restaurant, on certain days when the weather was good and the restaurant busy it was noisy in our room. Staff were all nice and helpful. Gym not bad could have been better. Pool nice but small. In the coffee area in the lobby, there was a horrible smell of vomit. We weren't sure if this was coming in from outside or if someone had vomited on the sofa at the back right hand side by the window and it just hadn't been cleaned up properly. Yucky. Overall a pleasant stay but expected more from a five star hotel.

Access to everythingPosted May 12, 2014
Cons: Can't think of a thing.
Location: Right where you want to be for shopping, eating, and entertainment. Taxis everywhere and only two blocks from an entrance to the transit system.
Located in a desirable area of the city with access to everything we wanted to do.

Great viewPosted Apr 29, 2014
Nomi restaurant is superb which I think was better than The Peninsula's The Lobby. Very good location for shopping. Close to public transport especially going south to tourist attractions like the Art Institute. Highly recommend the Lake View room, my room has views of both the Water Tower and the lake.

Very good Hotel at the heart of the city.Posted Apr 20, 2014
One of the best Hotels in Chicago. There is nothing really to complain about. The SPA is heavily over priced...
