“Sam's recommandation”

I was arriving O'hare at night from a International location and taking early domestic flight next morning and needed a hotel reasonably cheap and still has suttle from/to airport, free internet & free breakfast and room to be clean. I was also, needed a room service or restaurant to go for dinner. This hotel had eveything I needed and I did not have any complaint. I will go back there next time & am recommanding this hotel to anyone. Sam

“Mixed Review”

Andy at the front desk is a jewel, a perfect employee. The mattress was lumpy and we rolled to the middle. The room was clean and neat. The toilet was too low -- felt like I was in first grade again. The shower stream was more like a mist. The complimentary breakfast had a good selection, but was, unfortunately, cold. But it's close to the airport and convenient to the freeway.

“Hotel Is Fine...Shuttle Service Lacking”

Hotel is fine if you just want to stay the night before a flight out, nothing fancy, but also not a dive. The shuttle service was perfect when we left (we stopped at the front desk and they were they within 10 minutes). The way back, NOT so much. We waited for 45 minutes for the "every 10-15 minute shuttle". Not only that, but when the shuttle did show up, it only had room for 2 extra people. Thank god my girlfriend and I were outside waiting instead of inside, as after we boarded they said to the 5 other people waiting that they would have to wait until the next shuttle which we be about 20 minutes, meaning they waited over an hour. The shuttle is through AVISTAR, so i guess they are the ones who should get the bad review here.

I was not impressed with this hotel. It was extremely run down, the place smelled of smoke including the nonsmoking area, it looked like it was built in the early 70's and was in much need of some cleaning and renovation. It looks nothing like the pictures on Expedia. The beds were very uncomfortable and the room was dirty. The staff was not accommodating at all. We requested a minifridge and were told it would be extra. We declined. For $10-15 more a night we could go to The Jameson in Arlington and would have had a lovely stay. I tried to save money and shouldn't have taken the chance on this hotel. We were very disappointed. The one bright spot was the restaurant. However, the hotel staff were very secretive about the complimentary breakfast. You had to be a detective to get this information.

It was clean and comfortable! The staff was very helpful and the shuttle was perfect! You can get the blue line into the city from the airport, so traveling without a car is easy!

“Not that cheap after all and very noisy”

The hotel is sandwiched between two very busy highways, I-294 and Mannheim Rd. The noise of heavy traffic is constant. In addition, the heating/AC system is very noisy as well. Which makes for a very interesting night if you're trying to get some sleep. The personnel at the front desk was polite and efficient. I have not tried the hotel restaurant/lounge. The parking lot is open, anybody can come in.
