Nebraska vs NW

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Our stay was very short, but the rooms were very clean and the staff couldn't have been any friendlier! If we are ever in that area, we will definitely stay again.

Easily accessible via main roads but still quiet

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: Very clean.
Cons: Considering the location, surprising no Big Ten Network on the satellite lineup. Coffee maker in room would have allowed me to rate it a 5.
Location: A bit far from Northwestern's campus but quick route to get there on main roads.
Nice little place for what I needed--a warm, safe place to stay. Was only there to sleep & shower.

Cons: Give the customer a clean floor. Our floor in Room 223 on October 11 check in was absolutely filthy. We notified the office but that was of no help.
We loved the close location to the Baha'i House of Worship. Beds were very comfortable. We used three room towels to clean the dirt, pop stains and grime off of the floor, left there by the previous visitor, and obviously not cleaned by maid service.

Nice motel. Has almost everything you need to stay overnight. Heater didn't work well, but otherwise it was quiet and clean room.

The 1st room we had was handicap accessible and we didn't realise that's what we booked, so we were amazed by the size of the room. But the door wouldn't unlock for us, no matter how many keys we tried. The staff was very polite at getting another room for us, although smaller, it was still ok.

Over all good, I enjoyed the TV most, but the AC was making lot of noise. So for the price this is the best place

Cheap stay if going to Ravinia

Posted Sep 10, 2014
It was a little difficult to find as the hotel can't bee seen from Waukegan Rd (there is sign on the street). The front desk staff was very freindly and welcoming. The conditions outside the hotel were ok. They do have an elevator which worked fine. The room itself was just OK. The AC was not on when we walked in; we turned it on full blast and it took awhile for it to cool the entire room. Only two bath towels; could have used two more. The room had hardwood floors, which I did not expect or mind. The bed wasn't all that comfortable but it wasn't uncomfortable either (if that makes sense). It is a decent stay for the price, if staying for a night. It is close to the highways and the Ravinia entrance.

Cheap and close to downtown

Cheap, clean, allows dogs at no extra price, and not far from downtown. Located in a nice neighborhood. Would definitely return.
