“awesome hotel, not to be spurned for its modest appearance”

Overall I was extremely satisfied, especially considering the low price. The hotel itself isn't very attractive, the architecture is very 1960's and a little dirty-looking. The inside, however, is very clean and nice. The comforters were very pretty and the beds were soft and smelled fine. The hotel is in a really nice area, though it's a little far from the city if that is where you are visiting. The complimentary coffee is pretty good, and you have options, you can also get hot chocolate, which I'm told is also good. Be sure to check out the wall decorations in the lobby, big pictures of smiling travellers and businessmen. They are a hoot.

very impressive for the money. Other hotels in area twice as much-no frills but didn't feel anything was missed. Plan to stay in the future again.

I just needed a hotel for one night, & this worked fine. It's quite a distance from the O'Hare airport, but otherwise it was a fine place to lay my head.

Everything was fine except the wifi functioned sporadically and the check-out clerk kept me waiting and was not all that polite. The check-in clerk, on the other hand, was great!

Had to travel a lot from downtown. That is the only minus for me. Room cleanliness and the quality of service is pretty good for the amount paid. Cheap and best, especially if you rent a car.

Clean sheets, clean bathroom, cable tv, being close to an IKEA store... what else can you ask for :)
