Location: Location was good for transporttation as it is right off of toll road and had a few places for breakfast.
Room needs some TLC. Bathtub was chipped and pealed in some areas. The room need some updating, the headboard has electrical outlets inlaid which do not work. Not sure what look they were going for with the TV and entertainment area, but it is not visually appealing. This was my first stay at a Red Roof Inn and will be my last.

If at first you don't succeed ...Posted Nov 18, 2013
I'll try to be brief. We checked in late and literally fell asleep upon arrival. When we woke my buddy was taking a shower and I went to wash my face and brush my teeth. As I looked into the sink there was dried vomit in the sink ! Gross ...I then went to take a shower and the water wasn't draining in the shower. A new room was given to alleviate this problem. I wondered where else the previous person puked. :( Red Roof did apologize and I accepted.

hotel under constructionPosted Oct 18, 2013
Pros: the personnel working there
Cons: see above
The wifi did not work, the fridge made noise all night long and the ac vibrated so much I had to put the lugage on top of it so that it would let me sleep. The other guest were screeming outside in the middle of the night. They were either high or drunk. The shower was dirty and the shower curtain did not reach the top of the bathtub

Pros: room seemed recently renovated. it was cheap
Cons: front desk person when we arrived didn't seem to know what she was doing.
Location: location was good for us. was off of interstate.
room was clean but there was something just creepy about the place. when we pulled into the parking lot there were guys sitting around drinking and loud music playing. we stayed 2 nights. 2nd night in particular was very noisy.

Construction on goingPosted Sep 25, 2013
The sheets were dirty, and there was construction happening on the property up until 10pm. There is also road construction happening right next to this property. I would say wait a few months for both types on construction to be completed.

Cheap and Simple, but Smelled like smokePosted Sep 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
The room was necessities only (flat bed, a warm shower and basic cable tv), NO cozy extras to speak of, but price was right for the two nights I was staying in town to just visit family in Schaumburg. Close to the hwy, shopping and restaurants if you want to do the tourist thing, you would be able to drive to the city, but not close to public transportation.

The bathroom needed to be cleaner. They need to have coffee makers, irons, and hair dryers in every room rather than having to go to the front desk and pick the iron and hair dryer up. I was their for only two days so it was ok and the price was right for that stay. They also needed to repair nail holes in the walls where pictures were removed.
