Classy suburban hotel

This hotel has a luxury feel without the luxury price. The facility is very well-decorated and has a modern, hip feel. The rooms are well-maintained. My only complaints are that the pool and hot tub seemed over-treated (made my eyes burn) and the beds could be more comfy.

Internet connection is a problem

The Internet connection is very expensive and the information about free wifi in the lobby was confusing

Gorgeous hotel but rooms are mediocre

Walking around and inside the hotel is mesmorizing but the room is dissappointing. Had a deluxe room with a tv that was tiny had poor quality and not vivid colors. Tv prob worth 20 bucks. Paid 18 bucks for movie and barely could view it. Had to sit at edge of bed to make out images. No big tub or jacuzzi either. For a gorgeous hotel they cheaped out on the rooms and was dissappointing and put a damper on our night.

Watch your billing

Great experience booking on expedia. When we arrived to check-in the front desk was more concerned with signing us up for Marriott rewards than checking us in properly. Our credit card was billed for even more than the expedia cost and we had already paid expedia directly. When I went to the front desk the next morning after receiving the bill under the door, I received a reprinted receipt with a zero dollar balance and they apologized for the error. The next day, my credit card showed a charge for $30 more than the bill that was updated. I called and was informed it may be a temporary charge but they were uncertain. They told me to keep checking my credit card. Not a good client experience. Wifi for less than $12.95 would be nice when not traveling for business....come on, it's 2015!

Nice lobby, but room wasn't clean.

Lobby was nice, and I hoped the room was going to be too. However, pillows smelled like dirty sweaty people and sheets were rough. TV remote was actually sticky with who knows what. I was disappointed and did not sleep well.

Daughter and I stayed there for a mini vacation. Spent a day at great mall a couple of miles away. Hotel very impressive. Room super comfortable. Everything VERY clean! Staff super nice. Great stay!

Great Hotel

Pros: New, spacious hotel. Easy parking. Clean and friendly. Good food and reasonably priced.
Cons: It is a convention center and can get crowded and noisy when busy. But plenty of room for everyone.
Location: A little too far away from Ohare for business travelers going to the loop but it is not part of the congestion and noise around the airport.
Just a one night stay. Check-in easy and friendly. Rooms clean and new.

Surprise birthday party!! HUGE success!

Pros: Room was clean & comfortable & deluxe! Loved it!!! The valet service both in the evening upon our arrival a well as when we were leaving-A++++
Due to the location, accommodations, and staff at the Renaissance Hotel in Schaumburg, our celebration was outstanding! Thank you, everyone, at the Renaissance for an evening we will never forget!!!!

Great hotel adjacent to convention center.

Pros: Very nice and room was quiet and great for sleep
Cons: Would like to have some breakfast included with the stay since we didn't have a car. Breakfast was 19/each so pretty spendy. Also could use shuttle.
Nice hotel, nice amenities and good night sleep (quiet). Need to add breakfast and shuttle service like your competition in the area.

I booked a double through Hotels.com in July for a Feb trip. When I got to the hotel at 10pm they informed me "We do not guarantee room preference when you book through Hotels.com "....interesting concept since their corporation had no trouble using hotels.com to fill up their hotel. We got stuck in what they call a King (more like queen size ) with two roll away beds. Also hotel has an 11am check out on Sunday???
