Warm Sophistication

Pros: Great location, views, room.
Cons: I found everything exactly to my liking.
Location: Shoppping, restaurants etc
From beginning to end, all was perfect. I love the atrium at this hotel. The view was great with sculpture and fountain and lily ponds, trees and buildings in the distance. The self parking was easy and free and they also offered valet if you preferred. There are many restaurants and shopping areas nearby too. It was sophisticated and also very warm and friendly.

Too expensive for what you get.

Nice place but expensive. Room was average for this level of hotel. It was neat and clean but the iron was junk and the alarm clock was a CD player that was older(or seemed older) and was impossible to set an alarm on. The time was off. Could not figure out how to set either. The room did have a nice connection board for the TV that would accept just about any input.

The staff were very welcoming and prompt😀they answered all of our transportation questions. The buffet breakfasts were delicious with different options each day. The decor is modern yet relaxing. Free parking helps.

Great hotel

Everyone was super friendly, hotel was clean and very nice to look at. Bed was comfortable, plenty of room. Just remember to put the do not disturb sign on the door, the 8:20am wake up to housekeeping prying open the door was not was I was hoping for.

Misleading - not a airport hotel

Cons: Do the right thing and contact Expedia to have the info corrected.
This hotel is 15 miles away from O'Hare airport, but Expedia lists the hotel is 2.6 miles from the airport. We booked this hotel due to the wrong information for one night airport stay to next morning flight. It costs $80 taxi ride to the hotel from the airport. At hotel check-in, a customer rep acknowledged the listing at Expedia was wrong (not so close to the airport), but no correction (on its distance) has been made.

Classy suburban hotel

This hotel has a luxury feel without the luxury price. The facility is very well-decorated and has a modern, hip feel. The rooms are well-maintained. My only complaints are that the pool and hot tub seemed over-treated (made my eyes burn) and the beds could be more comfy.

Internet connection is a problem

The Internet connection is very expensive and the information about free wifi in the lobby was confusing

Gorgeous hotel but rooms are mediocre

Walking around and inside the hotel is mesmorizing but the room is dissappointing. Had a deluxe room with a tv that was tiny had poor quality and not vivid colors. Tv prob worth 20 bucks. Paid 18 bucks for movie and barely could view it. Had to sit at edge of bed to make out images. No big tub or jacuzzi either. For a gorgeous hotel they cheaped out on the rooms and was dissappointing and put a damper on our night.

Watch your billing

Great experience booking on expedia. When we arrived to check-in the front desk was more concerned with signing us up for Marriott rewards than checking us in properly. Our credit card was billed for even more than the expedia cost and we had already paid expedia directly. When I went to the front desk the next morning after receiving the bill under the door, I received a reprinted receipt with a zero dollar balance and they apologized for the error. The next day, my credit card showed a charge for $30 more than the bill that was updated. I called and was informed it may be a temporary charge but they were uncertain. They told me to keep checking my credit card. Not a good client experience. Wifi for less than $12.95 would be nice when not traveling for business....come on, it's 2015!
