Great price, great value, very nice hotel close to naval training center for graduation. Much better than staying in downtown Chicago where the hotels are overpriced and run down.

“can stay here again”

the room was nice n clean the size is pretty good too. the best free breakfast i've had of all the hotels i've stayed in. the location's great , the shops are like 4 minutes away. the staffs are pretty friendly. love this place and will stay here again whenever i get the chance.

Great stay. However some issues; breakfast service on Sunday was not good, we cannot find a wine cork opener and I have to go to next door Hilton. Shampoo left only for one person.

“Great hotel in a beautiful location!”

Staying at the Residence Inn in Lake Forest/Mettawa was one of the best hotel experiences I have had in a long time. The staff were friendly and helpful beyond all expectations and were also handy with printed directions to locations around the city. Our room was always clean and we had absolutely no problem getting extra linens, soap...,. The suite was comfortable to come back to after spending 3 whirlwind days in Chicago, the bed even more so! I highly recommend staying there, I know I will!

Area recommendations

The Navy Pier and the surrounding Museum and Aquarium were all we could accomplish in three days, but thety were fun! We spent 5 hours in the museum alone and only completed half of it! We spent one entire day at the Navy pier, boat rides, baloon rides, shops and tours, still not enough time to see it all!

“Great Hotel”

First time staying in this chain, but I was very impressed. Bed was great, pillows were even greater. Neat, clean, comfortable, and front desk personnel were awesome.
