Residence Inn reviewPosted Aug 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
Carpet and bedding damp, drawers in bathroom sink vanity had a very strong body oder as if dirty clothes were stored within. Wine glass on shelf in closet. Ladies under garmet found attached to underside of ironing board. Notified mangment of issues were not moved to another room! Pool area not prepared for morning swim, no clean towels, hamper over flowing....towels on lounge chairs and floor. Hot tub needed to be cleaned as well.

4 day conferencePosted Jul 24, 2013
Pros: the room lay out is nice, the breakfast was good tasting and offered many items. the location was just less than a mile and was conveniently located.
Cons: the condition of the sofa and chair in the living room.
Location: plenty of restaurants nearby for a couple mile drive and many within walking distance.
I stayed at this hotel for a four day conference that was nearby at the convention center. The experience was great overall, there were just a few quirks. One of them was the A/C unit which was making a weird loud noise and the living room sofa just looked like it needed a steam clean.

Very ComfortablePosted Jul 16, 2013
Pros: bed was comfortable, linens were very clean and crisp, housekeeping was polite, efficient and quick about getting things in order.
Location: located withing walking distance of many restaurants, taverns,; easy drive to mall, and plethora of shopping/eating
Spacious, super clean room, great amenities staff respectful, helpful, well trained Full breakfast - make your own waffles, eggs, meat, breads, cereal, yogurt, fruit Evening happy hour M-Thursday only - red or white wine, miller lite and some sort of appetizer. minor negatives - pool and pool room SUPER SUPER Chlorinated - needed more ventilation, probably less product coffee was marginal

Great service, awesome 2 bedroom suite, ++service!Posted Apr 25, 2013
Pros: I liked that the 2 bedroom suite each had their own bathroom. I also liked the cleaning staff helping me with my dishes when it wasn't expected.
Cons: The price of the rooms were high, but all in all I would pay for it again because it suited our needs perfectly. Just wish it was a little lower.
Location: Right across the street from Convention center, Costco and Ikea in same parking lot area as hotel, and 2 blocks from 2nd largest mall in america. +++
We had an initial problem getting the room we wanted, One with a full oven, but after talking to the hotel manager we were able to settle that immediately and had good communication back and forth via email before our visit. The hotel manager even emailed me to tell me about a huge storm in Chicago and to be prepared. The hotel was clean, our room was delightful. The 2 bedroom was perfect for us as our teenagers had their own room and kept their mess in there and my friend and I had the privacy of our own room. I loved that the 2 bedroom suite each had their own bathroom. I baked for a convention each day. I tried to keep my dishes washed as I went, but each day the cleaning staff cleaned my kitchen amazingly so I had a fresh start each day. I was overly impressed. Also, the hotel is 2 blocks from the 2nd largest mall in america which made my teenagers very happy. I will stay here again.

This hotel was perfectly clean, great room, friendly staff, and the hotel was very low-key and felt like a safe environment. Will definitely return!

Excellent service at convenient locationPosted Jan 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
All the hotel personnel were helpful and friendly. We came to the Chicago area to visit family that are spread out. The location is convenient to several highways, shopping and restaurants. My husband gets around with a cane since his stroke, and we were given an accessible suite so that he could shower safely.
