“Excellent Service”

The staff makes you feel like you are someone special. You are catered too and taken care of from the second you arrive. The rooms are quite comfortable and clean. Close to shopping, entertainment and fine dining. I would highly recommend this hotel.

“Awesome hotel!”

We stayed at the Sax for my nephew's wedding. It was a WONDERFUL event!!!! The hotel and event staff was awesome - making sure we always had everything we needed/wanted, down to the big hot bowls of mac and cheese for the kiddies and umbrellas when it rained ;-) Very chic boutique hotel, but never any stuff tudes and centrally located next to the historic Marina City designed by Bertrand Goldberg (super cool). We stayed a whole week - felt so at home. Room was clean and bed was super comfy. We ordered room service several times too, including delish deep dish pizza direct from Connies pizzeria and incredible desserts (best creme brulee evah!). The red room bar and the BIN restaurant are very nice too. We cant wait to come back!

Area recommendations

I cant remember all the names of all the great neighborhoods. We looked for a website that had the top 10 things to do in Chicago and did those. Like the free zoo in Lincoln Park and the Architectural River Tour. Visited several museums - the Science and Industry Museum featuring Sunset/Kaufmann green home and Dr. Seuss exhibit, the Art Institute, etc. The Bean in Millenium Park. We loved the burgers at Rockit near State Street. Ate pizza til we exploded (Ginos East and Lou Malnattis were our favs). Walked all over the place. Wonderful town! We cant wait to go back.
