Cons: There were no cookies, fruit, etc. placed out in the evening.
Booked this room via Expedia as a Best Western, had some difficulty locating the hotel because the name had been changed.

Our room had a view of the roof over the hall area

Posted Oct 13, 2014
Pros: Good location to th auction we attended, room were nice, clean. Good price.
Cons: Send staff to friendly school.
Location: Good location for freeways, dining nearby, gas stations. Near convention center.
2nd day, electric keys not work, both rooms. Instead of "sorry for trouble" we were told we must have put them next to another card, like credit card, key fob, etc. which we had not done. Breakfast was good, good selection, somewhat limited seating in the area. Front desk staff was not very friendly.

A little disappointed.

Posted Oct 13, 2014
Pros: The breakfast was nice and there was a lot of room to sit.
Cons: Cleaner rooms.
The hotel itself, was okay, but there was no signage showing that it was the Best Western, the staff was not overly friendly, and the rooms were not cleaned very well. When we got to our room, there were dirty towels still hanging on the back of the restroom doors. The bathrooms looked like it had recently been remodeled, but there was paint splashed on the new looking tile and the grout was a mess. The fan to our HVAC system was noisy and I don't know that the fan ever actually ran. I would probably not stay there again.

Rough around the edges

Posted Oct 13, 2014
Pros: It had rooms with two double beds available and was in the general area we wanted to stay in for shopping and entertainment.
Cons: The hotel was a bit on the shabby side. There were several maintenance issues that detracted from the appearance of the hotel.
Location: The hotel was reasonably close to shopping and dining. Moretti's Ristorante and Pizzeria was very close and a great dining experience.
We spent 2 nights at the hotel for leisure travel.

Nice hotel close to EXPO center

Posted Oct 5, 2014
Great hotel. Very comfortable. Great variety for a free buffet breakfast. extremely clean and tidy. Easy access to Renaissance Convention Center. Short walk to a really great Irish Sports Bar called Finn McCool's which had awesome food at good prices. Would definitely stay again. Weekdays were quiet, but weekends got extremely busy and noisy. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Excellent service - great price!

Pros: Excellent service, free shuttle, located close to Convention Center, free breakfast buffet, comfortable and clean room, nice facilities
Location: Schaumburg Convention Center and Renaissance is within walking distance, there is a nice lake/park area adjacent to hotel, plenty of food and shopping
I stayed at this hotel on a business trip for a trade show at the Schaumburg Convention Center and was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was - it definitely exceeded my expectations. It is within walking distance to the Convention Center and there is also a free hotel shuttle that will take you there as well. The staff was excellent - very friendly and accommodating. They helped make recommendations on where to eat in the area and set up our transportation with the free shuttle for nearby dinner/shopping as well as our taxi back to the airport. Facilities were very lovely and well kept - including lobby, rooms, restaurant, and the gym. It was very inexpensive for a very nice stay, and I would definitely recommend!

Conveniently located

Posted Sep 26, 2014
Cons: Check hot water recirculation pump and WIFI repeaters
Location: Hotel Shuttle will take and pick you up at the Woodfield Mall or Arlington train Station.
PROS – Clean, convenient, comfortable beds, and reasonably priced CONS – In order to get hot water we had to run water in tub and sink for several minutes. Although once it was hot it stayed hot and had good pressure, WIFI in room 230 was none existent (2mb) outside room in hall or in the lobby was fine, breakfast area was very cold which made the plates very cold so your food was cold before you could get back to a table. Hint: toaster makes a good plate warmer If you take the train downtown as we did make sure you get back on at Ogelby station. Union Station has a Schaumburg train but will drop you off 10 miles from hotel. Otherwise the 50 min ride is a good way to get downtown and back.

Pros: I like the breakfast provided.
Cons: Needs updating. Door entrance to the conference part of building weather stripping ripped making it hard to open.
Location: Close to Medieval Times. Off the main area where most of the activity is.
Area around the hotel is experiencing construction. Noticed that on the backside of the property is a small pond where they have an area setup to sit out.

Pros: The room.
Cons: The front desk and having coffee for the rooms. (They were out for two days. Really?)
Location: Don't really know; the staff acknowledged that they knew nothing about the local area.
The staff was appallingly inept and indifferent. (With the exception of the restaurant's staff, who were helpful, knowledgeable, and attentive.)e
