“Pass on this one.”
I have stayed frequently in Super 8 hotels for business, and because they are independently operated, the quality of the facilities can vary greatly. This Super 8 was wanting.
One set of towels, one bar of soap, and one bottle of shampoo greeted my wife and I when we entered the room. The faucet valve that engaged the shower didn't work properly, so only half the water pressure reached the shower. The mattress was typical Super 8, meaning not good. Only two pillows on the bed, and they were definitely ready for replacement. The TV remote was an ergonomic disaster. The room was the smallest of any Super 8 I've stayed at.
I can tolerate most crappy hotels on business trips, but I was hoping for better on this pleasure trip. I was disappointed.
