i would hope it would of been better

Pros: the price
Cons: better breakfast and shuttle service
Location: strip club near by also a couple of fast food restaurants and adult world store next door.
the staff was friendly and willing to help.But the hotel was a little outdated and bedding was good they also had a whole frig and freezer in the room like the one in your kitchen. The pool was small but a little cloudy not sure why? same with the hot tub. The shuttle service was horrible we could of walk to the convention center it would of been faster. Over all decent but I will not be staying there again but if you want great price and mid class comfort this place is for i would recommend this place.

Pros: The easy access to CTA, Airport and Convention Center.
Cons: Possibly have shuttle access to local restaurants as there are very few in the general area, but many within 4 or 5 miles.
Location: The location is industrial and is mainly convenient to the airport. However there is not much to do in the area without a vehicle.
Hotel is nice and has shuttle access to the convention center and airport.

Disappointing Overall

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Everything! Doors need fixing. Drains need to be unclogged. Fans and lights should be fixed. Half the channels didn't work.
Location: There is a Burger King right down the road. Near the airport, they have a shuttle. Definitely not close to Six Flags, as they say they are.
Where do I start? I know for sure why they got not good reviews already. The parking lot is hard to get into because if you have to make a left to get in, you're driving over a small curb in the middle of the road or being forced to drive around. They advertise that they have an indoor pool, but compared to the size of the hotel, it is absolutely TINY! And freezing!! The hot tub only fits 5 people, if even that many! The whole pool area is extremely small, there really isn't room to even just sit by the pool and watch others. The desk receptionist either had no clue where my room was, or didn't think it was important to inform me that there were stairs 5 rooms down, because she sent us to the elevator on the other side of the hotel. There was a door to outside right at the bottom of the stairs, which would have been really convenient, except I wouldn't have been able to come back in that door, which meant that parking lot out that way is pointless. Breakfast was awful. No room for anyone to sit and the tables were extremely dirty. Fan in the bathroom made an awful noise when the light was turned on.The drain in the tub was obviously slightly clogged as it drained slowly, yet when my daughter took a bath, I had a hard time closing the drain and then is still didn't close all the way. Door to the room didn't close properly and key was finicky to get to open the door. Didn't feel safe there. Definitely would not recommend them at all.

Staff was nice, just hotel was very old. Pool was small . Tv was old from the 90`s. Toilet was constantly geting clogged.

Airport shuttle was good to me

recently spent one day and used the shuttle service for me and my family of 7. Had to about twenty minutes as told by the hotel. I had a really early flight and the shuttle was there on time as agreed with the front desk. All in all great value

No smoking room smell terrible

Strong smoking smell although the room is suppose to be no smoking. TV is broken. Staff is great and free breakfast is pretty good

Pros: Room and bed were comfortable. A swimming pool that looked clean. Did not go in it. Nice breakfast for a vegetarian - enough to eat and Shuttle!
Cons: Maps or schedules to make it easy for tourists to get to downtown Chicago.
Location: The closes place is a shopping center which is difficult to get to without the shuttle or bus - 2.5 miles. If walking, it is mostly on bushy pavement.
Firstly, I am an easy guy and a vegetarian. The no-smoking room smelled a little like smoke, but smoke have a tendency to leak - no problem. The staff could not help me with understanding how the public transport work to Chicago - maybe a language barrier. The breakfast (vegetarian), shuttle and comfort was wonderful. The big negative is that it is a bit far out of downtown Chicago and difficult to get there without help. What is a certain plus is the shuttle to and from airport that can be used to also get to the shopping center. Thanks for a great service Super 8!

Super 8 O'hare

Pros: The staff was accomodating. The price was quite affordable; room was clean & had a large refrigerator; the beds comfortable.
Cons: Not recommended for downtown commuting by shuttle & rail; especially on weekends. Weekend rail maintenance delayed arrival downtown by 45 min.
Location: The kids enjoyed "Gameworks" at the mall near Schaumburg.
We traveled to Chicago, but decided to book a room at Super 8 when our plans at another, larger motel chain fell through. Luckily the staff was helpful, provided a roll-away and a room with two queen sized beds to accomodate all five of us. The staff was helpful, polite and accomodating. The rooms were clean. The continental breakfast was limited to waffles, apples, bannanas, milk, juice, cereal and yogurt. It was open from 7am until 9am. Shuttle service was available from the airport to the Super 8. Morning service was great, especially if you call the desk early. Late evening service from the airport back to the motel could sometimes be delayed as much as 45 minutes. We traveled to the downtown area to visit Navy Pier, the Museum of Science and Industry and the Shedd Acquarium. On good days the shuttle took 20 minutes and the train ride 50 minutes. CTA busses took us to our destinatations in about 30 more minutes. On night however we left Navy Pier at 8:20pm and arrived at the motel at 11pm due to rail maintenance, traffic congestion in the city, and shuttle delays.
