The motel is located in a poor-ish section of town..but once you drive 1/2 mile in either direction, it gets better. Also--and I was not aware of this--the rooms do not have refrigerators, and so the ice machines are on full alert. However, having said this, I feel I got good value for my money. The personnel was always available, and always helpful. The water in the room was as hot or as cold as i wanted it, with strong pressure in the sink and the toilet. The bed was comfortable; the TV was easy to use. All in all, it was fine.

Only downside for me was the vending machine drinks were warm, but there’s an ice machine so no big deal. I had a good stay.

Good - extremely clean, painted, excellent coffee for a hotel, quiet, had a table and chairs, towels and bedding were in good condition and acceptable quality and quantity. Could be improved - printer/office station not working, no fridge, microwave is in the common area (but worked), no toiletries, no ironing board, no soft chair, room felt cavernous, staff perfunctory but responsive. Main thing I would have wanted was a fridge in the room.

You get what you pay for here. It's cheap. Therefore, not high quality and there are sketchy people hanging around, especially in the parking lot. Probably very moldy, re-painted and texturized all over. Beds feel like those pull out couches where you can feel the springs. But, it is very cheap, and for the price, relatively clean. Keep your wits about you in the parking lot, don't park at the far end of the hotel. Shady AF.

The motel is older states renovated in 2021. Seems like they have not updated anything since. Run-down and old. You get what you pay for. The area is not the best. Lots of apartment buildings in walking distance with section 8.

This property has been an excellent stay. I just moved here to Chicago and I’m a single mom. I’m having to rent short-term until I get my first few paychecks and the stay here has been great. Thanks Motel 6!

Good price clean room.
Although some clientele feels sketchy this is a clean inexpensive hotel with large rooms. Slow internet. I would stay here again but some might feel it unsafe. Cops had to evict someone. 9/10

Not so Great Lately!
This hotel has good rating and I get it.. its clean, but the truth is lately there have been issues on ALL my stays. Anywhere from a Housekeeping Lead throwing A Fit because i put "No housekeeping today" on the door and she said:"DO NOT PUT NOTES ON THE DOOR"!!!! There was also the Front Desk Guy on the WEEKEND who refused to move me on a new reservation, because..."We're FULL!!". And this was with a Parking lot half empty at 8:00am! Plus even if they were "full", is not like nobody was gonna be leaving either..so to say NO just because He didnt feel like it..makes it look like they dont care leaving you stuck with either the loud neighbor, or the barking dog. And then there were The Ever-Blinking older Tv's that have been blinking for a while now and could've been replaced at least with a used one from Craigslist. In the meantime if you dont accept those tv's when you check in, the Lady at counter gives YOU attitude, like its Your Fault! Anyway...i hope they watch out for these things or they might lose "fans".
