Everything about the hotel and service was fine. Great view of the lake. If you go for shopping, you may want to stay closer to Michigan. Hotel was close enough between shopping and art museum for me.

“Great place to stay for Lollapalooza!!!”

Went to Chicago for Lollapalooza and could not have asked for a better hotel for the trip. The staff were all friendly and helpful and helped us with directions and provided us maps of the city. When we got back from the concert at night, the hotel kindly provided us with menus of nearby restaurants that were still open. The rooms were clean and extremely spacious and we had a great view of the Lake as well. We are already planning on returning next year for Lollapalooza!

I find Chicago's reasonably priced Swissotel a very pleasant place to stay. In fact, this was my third time there in the past two years. Its location is excellent. The rooms are clean, and the staff is especially accommodating. Because of the building's triangular architecture, all rooms seem to have excellent views. At least, all three that I have stayed in did. I would gladly stay there again.
