Great Hotel

Pros: I love the fact that nothing is overlooked! Everything is clean and beautiful.
I love this hotel. We always book the large room with the fantastic view. It is so worth the view and the two bathrooms!

modern downtown hotel

Posted Apr 13, 2014
Pros: location, view
Cons: room cleaning, could be nice to have slippers (bath robes were provided)
I stayed in Swissotel for just one night. It has a modern slick design. The location is great. My room had an amazing river view, especially at night with all the lights etc. Unfortunately, I found some hair on the towel, blanket and in the bathroom sink. It could be a turn off (it was for me)... However, maybe I was just unlucky with cleaning staff. The hotel looked clean outside of my room.

Great views

Posted Apr 8, 2014
Pros: The city view.
Cons: Cleanliness of room
Location: Although not located in the heart of the action, many attractions and sites were within a 15 min walk.
My standard hotel room had a great view of the Chicago Riverwalk. Staff was helpful and friendly. Room cleanliness could stand a bit of improvement; notice the vacuum had not been used in certain areas (under the desk, against the wall. Appreciated room amenities such as an empty fridge and Keurig coffee maker.

Not enough bang for your buck.

Posted Apr 8, 2014
Pros: The View. The pool and hot tub.
Cons: Free wifi, faster service. better service.
Location: Navy Pier. Willis Tower.
I entered my room and noticed the bed looked laid in. The sink had hair in it, it looked like some just shaved. I notified the desk clerk they wanted me to pay for an upgraded room and never offered to change my room. I ordered room service. although the shakes tasted great, I waited almost two hours for them. I was quoted forty-five minutes. The pool and hot tub was great. I had a great view. Parking was expensive (Sixty-Five dollars a day); however, they cleaned my car and brought it to me whenever I needed it.

Convenient Chicago Hotel

Posted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Breakfast buffet cost was high. In lieu of the breakfast buffet, we found a Dunkin Donuts location available via the Pedway and saved a ton of $.
Location: Conveniently located near Navy Pier, Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, among other tourist attractions. A relatively short walk from mass transit...
The hotel was appropriately priced for the area/location and the room we were given. We booked a room with two double beds. The room was decently sized, although the shower was a bit small. The hotel is situated across from the Chicago River and very close to Lake Michigan. We were able to check in and out quickly, and hotel staff was quick to give us directions to requested destinations and to get us a cab when needed. I would use this hotel again in a return trip to Chicago...

Great location and hotel

Posted Apr 7, 2014
I have been a fan of the hotel for a while now. The staff is always very accommodating. The only personal drawback for me was that I planned to stay at the hotel to go swimming for the day. As I approached the pool area, there were kids running around everywhere...in the pool and in the hot tub. I ended up spending my time in the sauna instead. Room service is great and efficient.

Great for business trip!

Location: Close to Michigan Avenue, Art Institute, House of Blues, Rush Street. Can see Navy Pier from upper floors.
Attended a nursing conference at the Convention Center. Close to evening activities although quite a distance from the meeting. Beautiful views from our window on the 22nd floor - watched the Shamrock Shuffle Marathon runners in the morning and beautiful views at night. Very short cab ride from Union Station - we took Amtrak from Wisconsin. Would definitely stay agaim - great staff!

This was by far the best hotel I've ever stayed at in my life. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Great location and beautiful views too. Next time I'm in Chicago I will definitely be staying there!
