“Charming respite”

This was a pleasant and welcome break between two hectic weeks of work. While small, the room was clean, the AC was on, and there were even tiny bottles of wine in the fridge - all waiting for me to enjoy. Morning continental breakfast was better than most; coffee was good. Overall, a great experience; I would definitely stay here again if in the Chicago area.

“A Majestic Experience”

If you are looking for a unique place to stay in the Lake View (North Side) of Chicago, I highly recommend the Majestic Hotel. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I wanted to take the bed and pillows home with me--I can't recall a better night's sleep in a hotel. We had a queen suite which was very comfortable. The hotel is just a short walk from just about any dining or shopping option you could think of. You could easily walk to Wrigely Field to catch a Cubs game too! We plan to stay there again when in Chicago.

“Older Hotel, But Very Comfortable and Accommodating”

We were pleasantly surprised by the character and quality of the furnishings and common areas of this charming older hotel. The staff were super friendly, the rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The breaksfast provided was more than adequate, the afternoon cookies were scrumptious, and the 24/7 coffee, tea, and hot chocolate were a treat. We were able to stay parked on the street in front of the hotel, thus avoiding the parking fee, which was reasonable to begin with. Would recommend this hotel to others and not hesitate to stay there again ourselves. Granted, it's not located close to touristy areas, and we had to take the bus around, but that was part of the adventure for a family of first-time visitors to Chicago.

We found the Majestic to be a small, comfy, cozy hotel. The decor is very classy. The Continental breakfast was above average. The staff at the front desk were very helpful. We have an event coming up in April and are recommending the hotel to our friends who are coming in for it.

I loved it but it is older than dirt, it has this smell . but other than that, great neighborhood.
