disappointing stay in downtown chicago!!

Pros: the proximity to the chicago theatre, however there are other hotels just as close with better ammenities
Cons: will not waste my effort to respond
Location: in the heart of chicago with much to do, but better accomodations just as close
other hotels within a 1/2 mile radius offer free internet, the wit doesnt!! other hotels in the area (the allegro) has room decor that is comfortable, plush and matches, the wit doesnt!! the pocket door to the bathroom was very cheesy, the wall decor was dirty, the chair was used yard sale at best, the staff in the spa lie, the front desk staff had no personality, the bellman gave no insight into how to operate the blinds, nor did he enlighten us as to the refrigerator could not be used to store personal items. should i continue? at the allegro the bellman was so appreciative for my gratuity that he later brought us up a bottle of complimentary wine. it would be extremely desperate of me to ever return to the wit!!! i enjoy good service, quality accomodations, and friendly staff! so extremely disappointed in an establishment that is in the heart of chicago!!

Un lugar sin lujos excesivos, pero con todas las comodidades. Muy bien ubicado, cerca de Millenium Park y de la zona comercial y de restaurantes. Tiene un solo problema: el lobby huele a la comida del restaurante que está ahí. Por lo demás, excelente.

Noisy on Sat night.

If you are staying on the higher floors on a Sat night, be prepared to stay up late. The music and vibrations from the club upstairs will keep you up. The check in lady said it was a quiet room...

Very nice stay

Very nice stay. Room service was great. Room comfort was amazing. Hotel is very well secured. Staff is friendly. Regulating the room temperature wasnt pleasant. More channels on TV would have been nicer.

Nice hotel but WAY too noisy

Pros: Clean, nicely decorated, friendly staff
Cons: It is WAY too noisy. The thermostat wouldn't work so I couldn't turn on the fan to drown out the noise happening next door.
Location: It is close to everything.
Nice hotel but the walls are SUPER thin and you can here every conversation happening everywhere. I got NO sleep and considered leaving in the middle of the night. Not worth the money at all. So disappointed.

The hotel was great! The valet went through my car compartments so I will not be using that service at the wit afain

Great hotel, rooftop lounge staff needs improvemen

Terrific hotel, room was spectacular, all staff was 5 star except for a rude host at the Rooftop Bar. I would rate this a great hotel, best location in Downtown Chicago.
