“Would love to go again;”

This hotel was awesome. I found it using the internet and it was rated as the most romantic hotel in Chicago. I definitely agree. The service far exceeded expectations. They really went the extra mile to provide top notch service. The room was fantastic with large bathtub, shower and fireplace in the room. Outstanding. You need to try this hotel

“Extremely impressed by the Elysian”

It is truly difficult to find anything negative to say about the Elysian. From the minute the cab sweeps into the courtyard, you are surrounded, not only by a beautiful building, but by the best customer service I have ever experienced. Staff are charming, friendly, courteous, and endlessly helpful. The rooms are superb - I stayed in a Gold Coast suite and was tempted to stay in the whole time. And I think I once lived in a flat that was smaller than the gorgeous bathroom. I ate in the Michelin 2* restaurant, Ria (superb) and the smaller and more informal Balsan - also extremely accomplished food. Staff and service in both were impeccable. So - if I had to say something negative, it might be that I was surprised that there wasn't a coffee maker in the room, but given the slickness of the room service, that was not really a problem. And I had to search for that one bad thing to say! But it did not spoil the amazing time I spent in the Elysian!

“Impressive service, especially for being so new”

I was in a Gold Coast Suite for two nights. I had to great breakfasts via room service. It was delightful to sit next to the glass door to my balcony with the morning sun coming in and eat breakfast. I am quite picky about my breakfasts as they are my largest meal of the day. The quality of the tea offerings was at the highest. Usually the first night I am in a hotel, I am up and down all night as I adjust to sounds and the mattress. I do take a sound machine with me that makes a white sound for all of my travels. This suite was absolutely quiet and the mattress was top notch. I slept soundly the very first night. The staff did their very best and were quite accommodating to me. I wanted a late check out. However, they were entirely full. So instead they hung up my traveling clothes and held my bags securely while I attended the rest of the conference. When done with the conference I was allowed use of the elegant spa in which to change, shower and partake of their quiet room for the few minutes I had left before my car and driver arrived to take me to the airport. I really needed that time to relax as my airline was putting great stress on me by snarling my return reservation due to their inability to merge to airlines together smoothly. Wait to you see the beautiful elegant and private entrance when you drive up. You will think you are arriving at a small palace or elegant Italian villa. I highly recommend it. This is a well trained staff by a caring GM.

“Chicago's finest”

I am a frequent traveler to chicago, and i've stayed at numbersof hotels out there. Elysian hotel is by far the most pleasant experience i've had in chicago. Service was fantastic, rooms were great and to top it off, they even drove my girlfriend back to the train station at no expense. Finaly, the staffs refuses to take tips after these wonderful services. Will absolutely stay there again.

“Best Hotel in Chicago!!”

I have to say I usually have stayed at another very nice 5 star hotel in Chicago but the Elysian has them beat. This hotel is so clean and the staff so courteous, they can not do enough for you. It is a non-tipping hotel believe me I wanted to tip but they all said "no". It is nice to know that they are doing their job well and getting paid well. This was my second stay there and it is quite simply amazing, you will feel like you live there and own a gorgeous condo in Chicago. Prices are amazingly fair. I recommend this hotel highly, did I mention the food is excellent.

“Best hotel ever”

We could not have been more pleased. Everything about the hotel is top notch. The beds are wonderful. It is a no tipping hotel. But what really sets this hotel apart from any other is the service. The people here love their jobs and it shows. Even though we only stayed one night I could cite 4 or 5 instances where an employee did or said something special to make us feel welcome. If you stay here every other hotel you stay in will be a let down. This one is the gold standard.

A CLIENT OF MINE RECOMMENDED THE ELYSIAN HOTEL. IT WAS MORE THAN I HAD EXPECTED. BEING A DESIGNER I WAS TOTALLY IMPRESSED WITH EVERY DETAIL INCLUDED IN THIS BEAUTIFUL HOTEL, BUT THE WONDERFUL ARCHITECTURAL FLOW. I HAVE STAYED AT THE ELYSIAN TWICE IN TWO MONTHS AND HAVE A RESERVATION TO RETURN AGAIN THIS MONTH. I HAVE STAYED IN BOTH THE KING CLASSIC AND THE SUITE. THE SUITE IS FABULOUS. THE BATHROOMS ARE SUPERB FROM THE SHOWER TO LAYOUT. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO FAMILIES, TRAVELERS, AND FOR JUST A RELAXING GET AWAY. A WONDERFUL LOCATION, DELIGHTFUL STAFF AND ALL IN ALL A TREMENDOUS EXPERIENCE. "A GREAT WAY TO END A DESIGN DAY"

WOW, we have stayed in many of the nicest hotels in Chicago but this experience was amazing. We upgraded to a suite with a wonderful balcony and a great view. It was too cold to enjoy the balcony but the fireplace was on most of the time we were in the room. We loved the no tipping policy and other than a few glitches with the internet and TV everything was perfect.
