This hotel has been restored to its original opulence. The lobby alone is worth a stay. Great vintage photos of old Chicago and bygone celebrities line the halls and conference rooms. Despite the glory of the past that is present in this building, the hotel maintains modern standards of comfort, cleanliness and convenience. The staff was friendly, attentive and efficient. The central location is very accessible to many attractions and transportation. I highly recommend the Palmer House.

Excellent location for shopping and sight seeing. Excellent and knowledgeable staff. The only complaint would be the wait for elevators, however this was occasional and could be excused since it only became an issue during the 2days prior to Christmas eve (high occupancy)
Would choose again
