We originally only plan to stay one day since the rate per night is a bit higher than we expected. However, we decide to gamble it and book another night last min, only Bungalow choice left, and waiting to see what will happen. After first night full score experience, we were trying to head back to Hotel and check-in as early as possible, however, Uxmal still have so much to see, so we arrive at Hotel around 6:00-7:00 pm. Louis drove their Golf car to pick us up with all the heavy luggages, drove us directly to the Bungalow. I personally love the Bungalow setting, but my wife still love the first night regular hotel room better. Very nice rock chair setting both hotel room and Bungalow. If anyone who love to listen the jungle, doing stargazing during the late night. Hotel shut off majority of the lights after 12:00 am. We took several photos of star populated sky. Once we close the window shatter at night, it is quiet and block the light completely...so I over slept, missing the opportunity to take Sunrise Time-lap on the Chichen Itza observatory. Well, give me another excuse to visit Mayaland one more time. Hotel suffered 2020 shut down, 2021 slow tourists population. I am very thankful all the staffs still keep the spirit and maintaining this beautiful hotel and letting us have a chance to experience it during the pandemic era. Love Mayaland and Thank you so much to keep hotel operating. We will be back for sure!
