Finda another spotPosted Dec 1, 2013
Pros: Convienent to Thunderhill
Cons: Almost everything but especially the breakfast - it was a new low.
Location: Thunderhill is great!
Very noisy and not too clean but the breakfast was even worse. No way would I return.

Good EnoughPosted Nov 21, 2013
I keep coming back because it's a fair value and everything is good enough. I stay at the Baymont when I have an event the next day at Thunderhill Raceway. The staff is always friendly and I haven't ever had a problem. The rooms are really just average all around. The more expensive competition has nicer rooms but isn't worth it to me, especially since this hotel has friendly, competent staff.

Never again.Posted Nov 20, 2013
I stayed while working out of town, and received a union-member discount, but co-workers oddly received a lesser discount. The person on the phone lied about this having formerly been the Traveler's Inn, which is the hotel that I was looking for. I booked a smoking room, but there were no ashtrays available. The fluffy towels of my first night were replaced each time with thin, thread-bare ones. The maid did not take or empty the half-filled water cup that I was told to use for an ashtray, and I was never given a second to replace it, leaving me only one to drink from. The soggy cake of soap was left on the ledge in the shower, as if to say I must use it all before I'm given a fresh one. There was no clock in the room, and my wake-up call was late. Even if a future employer were to offer to pay for me to stay here, I'd refuse. I'll never stay at this hotel again.

Birding PhotographersPosted Nov 11, 2013
Pros: The area is well light up, seems very safe to come and go in the very early morning and after dusk. The motel staff is friendly, outgoing and helpful
Cons: needs the bathroom bathing area to be updated.
Location: Very good location for coming and going to birding sites in this area
Motel is close to the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge Complex Headquarters. The staff was very good and very helpful. It is clean but could use some upgrading especially with the bath room. I rented a room with two doubles so my brother and I could share a room. We love to look at bird watching sites and were able to visit five within 50 miles of this motel. I will come back again next year stay in this motel. I like the small town of Willows which is very friendly. Around the motel area is many places to eat.

Disappointing even for the pricePosted Oct 28, 2013
Pros: Good price for a one-nights stay and back on the road.
Cons: Expedia improving their process.
Location: Nothing to do nearby unless you are from the area.
Reservation with Expedia specified we would have a room with 2 Queen beds. Hotel insisted we made a reservation with Expedia with one queen bed. After much arguing we were offered a room with 2 queens at a higher price. After I read from our reservation confirmation the description of the room with 2 queen beds we were finally given a room with 2 beds. This seems to be a problem with Expedia in forwarding information about a reservation that is in error with what we bought. That room had air conditioning that did not work. The tv displayed a broken pixel look that was like the old days when you tried to watch HBO or Showtime and you were not a subscriber. The sheets on the bed had large circles on it that appeared to have been chemically treated and it caused the fabric to break down.

Baymont InnPosted Oct 23, 2013
Pros: It had a fitness room, which seemed to be a difficult amenity to find for lodging in the area.
Cons: Maintenance and cleanliness of the rooms could obviously be improved.
Location: The location was simply a convenient place to stop on a long drive.
This was adequate for an overnight stop on a long trip. The woman at check-in bordered on surly. The bathtub had a broken stopper (laying on the side of the tub), when the front desk was contacted to see if there was a rubber stopper that could be used for the bathtub, the abrupt response was, "We do not have any rubber stoppers." The morning staff were somewhat more pleasant, though everyone seemed a little dismal. There was the smell of urine in the corner of the room with the lounge chair and light (yuck!).

Pros: Pool, hottub, nice hotel emplyees
Cons: Room smelled a bit weird at first. TV didn't work...
Stayed the night before, and the night of, a track day. There were other riders/racers. It is very close to the track (6-7 miles)
