The staff @ the reception desk were warm and helpful. My only adverse comment would be the lack of a newspaper on Sunday morning.

When they made an exception to their pet rules to allow us to have our cat with us in the disabled accessible room, they earned our loyalty. The service of the front desk staff was up with the best I've experienced--attentive and very helpful. If we ever find ourselves staying in Chico, CA, again, we'll be certain to go to the Best Western Heritage Inn first.

“Excellent Choice”

We have stayed in this hotel many times over the past four years while visiting our daughter who attended Cal State Chico. We have tried some of the other hotels in Chico, both higher and lower priced and feel that the Best Western is the best value. The rooms have always been clean, although in our experience, the second floor rooms have been more recently renovated. The continental breakfast is always ample, similar to other Best Western breakfasts, and usually includes make your own waffles, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, cold cereal, pastries, muffins and breakfast breads. The location is safe and quiet for a college town (don't EVER stay downtown on the weekend!!) and is just a few minutes drive to the college campus, Bidwell Park, shopping and restaurants. The hotel staff has always been pleasant and helpful, even during the busy graduation weekend. We absolutely recommend this hotel.

“Good hotel in Chico”

This was my first stay at a hotel in Chico, and it was nice experience. The rooms are big, with comfortable furniture, and an adequate tv. Our room could have been lighted better. The continental breakfast was also a nice touch. I will stay here again.

We stayed two nights at the Heritage Inn while moving our son to college. The room was very nice and exceptionally clean. The breakfast was very good with more options than a traditional continental breakfast. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub area. Overall, this was an excellent place to stay and a great value for the price. We will definitely only stay at the Heritage Inn when we visit Chico in the future.

I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions when I have a party or event in Chico and I don't want to drive back "up the hill" to Paradise. They are always pleasant, and the rooms are quite lovely!

“Best in Chico!”

Best Hotel in Chico. The Diamond is nice if you want to stay downtown and cough up a fistful of $$$. The Heritage was clean and quite. Had a 3rd floor room with king bed. Very comfortable bed and huge room! Big clean bathroom and they had a bar with a sink too! Sweet! Front desk guy was cool. Very efficient. He was eating a giant tray of Chinese food and fudge stripe cookies. Breakfast was great too!

There was a disturbance about 2:30 am ( someone running up and down the halls) but I can't fault the est Western for that. Overall I would recommend this establishment.
