“unexpectedly clean and adequate”

Inn unexpectedly clean and adequate for me (single traveler). Standard breakfast there far outdone by Deli food across the street - wonderful soup and bread. easy to access street-wise with GPS.

“Good Value”

The hotel room was clean and its in downtown but not too close where you couldn't get a good night sleep. Ive stayed here numerous times and will again in the future!

“OK place to stay in Chico”

Overall a decent enough place. Parking is pretty limited and the location is noisy. Very convenient to downtown Chico - pretty much everything is within walking distance. Wireless was awful, not worth messing with.

“Good place in the center of town”

The room was OK, but the drunk guy banging on the door of the room next door in the middle of the night was a little scary. The security did manage to settle it after a few minutes.

“Pleasant, comfortable stay with a few problems”

I arrived in early in the evening and was warmly greeted by Drew the night clerk. At budget class lodgings I often experience staff who are resident aliens unfamiliar or impatient with American standards of hospitality, instead treating the lodger as beneath them. This stay at Heritage Express was a happy surprise. I was not happy with some discrepancies in the room (had no remote for the ComCast tv access, one lamp was inoperative and the telephone was completely inoperation, and when I traced the lamp cord to see if it was plugged in behind the bed, I discovered some "used paper products" stuffed down there. With this list, I called the desk with my list (Using, of course, my cell phone) even though it was late in the pm. Drew was up the in a moment with a remote control that worked and checked on the other problems. The AM desk clerk was also helpful. BTW- the BFST was not worth eating.

“Clean, Comfortable and CHEAP”

This hotel doesn't have too many bells and whistles, but for the cost it's really nice. There was a fridge, hair dryer and FREE wi-fi internet. The room was a decent size and the beds were pretty comfortable. The location is close to downtown Chico and Chico State. The continental breakfast was pretty basic: cereal, coffee, pastries and juice. For someone trying to save money and for someone who isn't spending much time in the room this is a good place to stay.

“good for just one night if you really need to stay”

It was the kind of hotel you wouldn't expect much out of. It was a little dirty and the noise was ridiculously loud.

“Chico”

Hotel was OK for a short visit. Would not count on the continental breakfast . The coffee was good.
