Good Access

Pros: Location, it's clean.
Cons: Employee courtesy, likely this is a problem in the city. Out of 4 places I have stayed, just one I found courteous employee. Extend the breakfast hrs
The hotel has good access, couple blocks from downtown Chico. My room was noisy, with people walking around and sometime stop by my window for smoking (there where an AC plug near by for "community use"). I got my bathroom flooded when I lay my back on the flush reservoir. Breakfast is served from early morning to 9:30. The services finishes too early for a Sunday!!!!! The add is 24hs coffee, but not effective. The TV channels are frustrating. Despite of few premium channels, they are not broadcast in HD. I couldn't watch football games on Sunday

Great Location...Needs Maintenance

Floor was filthy...had to wear sandals to keep from getting super dirty feet. Room smelled clean when we arrived but 1 glance into the housekeeping supply room (door was left wide open) showed me why: dozens of aerosol air freshener cans were just inside the door. Also, the hair dryer in our room didn't work so my wife called down to request a replacement....took close to an hour for a maintenance guy to show up and he had a replacement for the wall mounted hair dryer...but by that time my wife's hair was dry the natural way and she was not a happy camper. But...the value for the room was good and the location can't be beat. So...pick your poison

Pleasant Stay In Downtown Chico

Pros: The linen, furniture and bedspread were clean. The heat and A/C kept the room comfortable. The room had WIFI.
Cons: There was a group of motor cycle riders staying and each one took a parking spot, all space full late at nite. All started the bikes at 6:45 am. ????
Location: Ample choice of dining, cocktails and shops within a 5 block walk. Streets and garages are 2 hr meters till 6pm. Ice cream store at hotel rear exit.
The room was clean and comfortable. the staff at the front desk were polite, courteous and prompt. When driving back to room after 9pm there was only 1 parking spot left due to motor cycles. When walking back from restaurants, shops in the evening, Homeless people followed us while walking back and begged for money all the way to the hotel room. The City of Chico needs to police and address this problem.

quality at the quality inn

Pros: close to the campus
Cons: Please up grade your carpet and clean the walls/ceilings.
Location: Don't walk alone by the park, I was unaware of the surroundings and greeted by several homeless folks.
Chico state parent can receive a discount, in advance only. It's a perfect distance from the campus.

Extremely convenient for university visit

Have stayed here a few times over the past few years. Love the location to downtown & the university. Rooms simple, clean, comfortable.

close to chico st

It's as close to Chico state but they know it and 150.00 a night for this was steep!!! I pay that in Chicago for 4 st hotels sometimes. They take advantage of the location. This should be 60-80 a night max.

Decent hotel convenient

Nice reasonably priced hotel in a convenient location to the campus but since all hotels are smoke free the butts are everywhere outside in the morning. They can't clean up 24/7. Not their fault. Customers smoke and toss the butts anywhere. Overall ok place to stay.

Great Downtown Location

Everything about this hotel is very nice with the exception that the rooms smell "deodorized". The rooms and furnishings are nice, but upon entering the room you experience a cheap hotel smell. They have a "no party" policy that keeps the facilities quiet. Other downtown locations I have stayed out frequently include late night noisy obnoxious quests. This place is back off the street and quiet.
