When we checked in, the lobby was very clean and had a great scent. The lady who checked us in was very nice and explained everything to us. The room was very clean and updated. The one suggestion we have is to repair the soft spot in the floor. We put something over it so we wouldn't step on it.

This is my 3rd stay at this property. My experience at check in was great. Friendly guy, told me what I needed to know. Place was pretty clean but a bit musty. I was gone all day after that. The bed was comfortable enough, bathroom clean. In the morning the waffle maker was broken so that option wasn’t there, I was told that at check in. I’m a little weird about it but people are gross. So the communal containers of milk and juices in the fridge weren’t enticing. Breakfast was a little limited to sweets without the only real hot option of a waffle or toast. I had to hunt down someone for about 10 minutes in order to get into my room after breakfast because my key card quit working. That irritated me a bit and then I had to have it fixed twice before it worked. In general, my stay was fine And I’d stay again but this is just info so that they can remedy the issues.

This is a hotel in a small town run by a small family. It isn't perfect, but it is just right for our needs in Carrollton

The room was very nice and the area quiet. Checkin and service lacking. When we arrived, tired and ready for a quick shower before meeting friends for dinner, no one was at the desk and and sign that they would be back in 30 min. This was at a little before 5 pm. We got checked in 20 min later. No one was at the desk several times when I needed something. No one answered the phone.

They advertise breakfast included. The only things they have available are pre-packaged muffins and snacks. There is a Belgian waffle maker in the lobby, however there is never any waffle batter available to make one.

BED BUGS!!! Stay away
BED BUGS!!! Stay as far away from this hotel as possible. I stayed on 11/23-11/24 and woke up to BED BUGS crawling all over me. The hotel refused to refund me and said there weren’t bed bugs even after I showed them the photos and the bites all over my body. I will be reporting you to the department of health.

A nice night in Carrollton.
The property was very clean and neat. The decor was up-too-date and nice with some unique lighting. It was very clean and comfortable. It lacked much for breakfast but not unusual these days. We'd definitely stay here again.
