“Getting better”

We have stayed at the Harrison several times in the past 30 years. It is a great place to relax. The employees were all extremely polite and helpful this time, even more than previous visits. We will go back.

“Excellent Location, great stay”

Hotel itself was great, its right on the beachfront. The Hotel restaurant service was excellent and the food was of high quality for very reasonable rates. Loved the location.

“Main Building”

The Hotel itself is a great place.Room selection and comfort is the key for an enjoyable stay. The original room booking was not satisfactory by any means. We had to upgrade for a higher charge in order to find the comfort during our stay. The hotel , the food , the pools are great. We plan on returning to this beautiful location.

“Mostly Satisfied”

While the hotel is clean and comfortable, it is somewhat over-rated. We found the service excellent and received a complimentary upgrade on our room when we inquired but it underscored how we would have been disappointed with the hotel had we not received it. It generally feels somewhat dated. The hot springs are clearly the draw but the adult only option is not as intimate as the photos would imply - better marketing than reality. We had mixed results from the spa experience. The restaurant choices during the week were somewhat limited with dinner choices being either a buffet or dining and dancing in the Copper Room. For variety, there are more interesting choices outside of the hotel. The setting is beautiful with well maintained grounds and a quaint front street for browsing and dining choices. Over-all we would consider the destination again but with revised expectations.

“a perfect pampered getaway!”

Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa may be a wee old and has been through a few hands over the years but it does not disappoint! We got a nice big double room on a corner so we had a view of the mountains/lake and a balcony (though it was too cold to really sit outside). The staff was really attentive and friendly and everything we needed was taken care of immediately. The Lakeside Cafe breakfast buffet was a bit too much for me (I prefer lighter breakfasts) so we settled for Miss Margaret's Espresso bar for our coffee, danish and quiche (yum!). The Island Bar was great for a drink, a snack & a comfy place to park it to watch The Grey Cup! We had my birthday dinner at the Copper Room, and the quality of the food really has improved since we were last here (9 yrs ago). I had a delicious Beef Wellington and my husband had Prime Rib, both cooked to perfection! Fun to watch the good dancers take to the floor and we even joined in a couple of times, all 4 left feet of ours! But the center piece of Harrison is the amazing hot spring experience. The outdoor adult-only pool is where we spent most of our time. We also used the indoor pools and steam rooms. A special birthday treat of an 85 minute massage and a pedicure was just what I needed to have a perfectly pampered birthday getaway! Look past some of the more worn edges of the resort and just enjoy wearing a robe the entire time, with occasional dips in the pools, sitting by the fire and relaxing!

“Our Harrison Hot Springs Get Away”

The hotel was okay. We stayed in the older part of the hotel and it was obviously old. The floor was slanted! The room was clean and served its purpose. Mostly we enjoyed the hot spring pools and the steam room. It was a great relaxing trip!

“Satisfy afterall”

The hotel is a little bit old. The room has an old wood odor. However, the facility for the hotspring pools are wonderful. It was very relaxing. That had made up the difference.

“One night at HHS”

We stayed one night there and spent more time in the pools. Hotel is clean and staff is friendly. The room was too small and seems to me overprice; but it was OK for one night. We had a good experience and planning to go back.
