A disappointing experience

Posted Oct 19, 2014
Pros: The location is great. The hotel itself is a disappointment.
Cons: It really needs a thorough cleaning and replacement of carpeting.
Location: Beautiful location close to the lake. Found an awesome pizza place 2 doors down.
The bathroom was not clean, the sink was clogged, and there was hair in the tub from the previous guest. The ceiling tiles in the bathroom flopped up and down with the door opening & closing & stayed dislodged in the space above the bathroom. The entire hotel has a tired look. Old worn carpeting, banged-up walls, need of paint touch-ups. The restaurant is very unappealing with its dim lighting and limited menu selection.

We had a lovely two night stay, with a beautiful room. The staff were fantastic and helpful. Restaurants nearby are phenomenal

Staff seemed disinterested need training

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: steam room
Cons: staff attitude , glasses in room
Ok to keep the rain off. Actually nice hot tub, steam room & suana. Having only flimsy paper cups in the room didn't help.

Convenient but dated

Posted Sep 12, 2014
Convenient hotel and had everything we expected of a Ramada. However it is obvious that the hotel needs a little more up keep to be to standard. Bathroom needs a little work with little bits and pieces very dated. Overall it is acceptable for a one night stay.

Close to lake

No parking. Photos of room are deceiving. Beds squeek. Carpet is stained. Too $$ for what you got.

great location nice lakeview and mountain view

Posted Aug 29, 2014
Pros: Reasonable rates and location to the front ie lakeview room.
Cons: What about a more reasonable priced family restaurant instead of a steakhouse downstairs.
Location: Great location love the beach picturesque Bridal Falls waterslides a short drive
Took our grandsons for a few days , love the beach and nice little community great value for the money I would go back to the Ramada in a heartbeat.

Customer Service Sucked

Posted Aug 28, 2014
Pros: At least the rooms were clean, had a fridge , microwave.
Cons: Their customer service needs a lot of work.
Location: Close to the beach and very central location.
After booking our stay, my wife wanted to book a spa appointment. She left several phone messages prior to our arrival there but our calls were never returned. When we got there, we were informed that the lady who does the spa treatments just took off on vacation. We arrived at the hotel around 11:30am and were told that check-in was not 'til 4pm. We spent the day exploring the area and got back at around 3:50pm. There was a long line up to check in, when it came to our turn, we were told our room was not yet ready and to come back in 15-20 mins. We sat in the lobby and had to line up again only to be told, our room was still not ready. In the meantime, all the other people lined up were getting rooms and getting checked in. I lined up again for the 3rd time after an hour of waiting. The front desk clerk was very rude. No apologies for the 1 HOUR wait to check in, no offers of compensation for the inconvenience. In my year's of travel to many parts of the world, this was the worst check in I've ever had. Will never go back there again, ever!! Even if the accommodations were free. And to add insult to injury, you had to pay for Parking under the hotel, Free parking was a block away from the hotel. First time I've ever seen where parking for hotel guests was extra. It's good if it was even busy and full, but the parking lot was empty. Terrible Service!!

Pretty good hotel

Most staff were good but some seemed quite grumpy and were a little annoying. Guests want to be pampered completely. Price was far too high for what was given.

Disappointing Hotel

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: The only thing I liked was the proximity to the main street
Cons: Customer service of all staff especially the manager
The staff were very unfriendly and didn't even smile once. The rooms were not ready and cleaned until after 4pm which was the official check in time. There was a line up out the door of people trying to check in and none of the rooms were ready. As for the room itself......the air conditioning did not work which was one of the main reasons we chose that hotel, the coffee maker/pot was dirty and still had coffee in it from the previous guests, and the television had a horrible selection of channels with no option to rent a movie. Overall, the hotel was awful and I would NEVER recommend it to anyone or ever go back. The manager and staff need to be trained in proper customer service.
