Not staying there again.

Posted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: New bed and leaving it.
Cons: A well trained cleaning staff and a general clean up.
Location: Other than a game of golf, there was not much for adults to do in Harrison Hot Springs. No plans to go back.
On arrival we were dive bombed by birds in the parkade. The room was small with cramped. The beds were new and comfortable. Had to fix a hanging ceiling tile in the bathroom and on two occasions in three days, no hot water. Every morning had to clean out the coffee pot from the previous day. The restaurant had limited items on the menu and on the one occasion we ate there the food was not good. One time on trying to leave the parkade, the gate would not come up and had to send a passanger to the loby to get them to open the gate. Overall not a good experience.

Close to beach, but overpriced

Posted Aug 5, 2014
This hotel is close to the beach, doesn't have a view of the beach. The staff isn't very good, I had to wait at the front desk for 10 minutes just to ask for a room key. There is no room service menu, you have to phone the restaurant to hear the menu. We went out to the beach for the day and came back to our room not cleaned. If your looking to stay in Harrison then I would suggest going to one of the cheaper hotels for the same experience at half the cost.

Close to the beach and Town Pool

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Have a natural hot spring pool More help at the front desk Older building, needs to be improved cosmetically for Ambiance
Location: Close to beach and pool and places to eat.
Mostly out at a wedding, or at the beach. We went to the town pool, but it was too warm for a pool and didn't have a Hot tub!

Last minute booking, last time.

Posted Jul 19, 2014
Location: Highly recommend the Old Settler's Pub, really nice service, interesting building, cozy inside, breezy on the patio.
Quite run down, holes in the wall, ceiling tiles falling out in halls, small rooms, sad, outdated bathroom. Staff was perfectly pleasant, location is great, but in a community the size of Harrison that's really not a factor. If it's a choice between sleeping in your car or here, sure, stay here. Next time I'll be trying a B&B if this is the only other option.

Hotel in bad shape

Posted Jul 5, 2014
While my room was adequate, the general condition of the hotel is very bad. Ripped wallpaper. Lights not working in elevator. Smells in the corridors.

Needs investment

You pay for what you get. Generally tired and dusty. I think there was a reason why this was one a the few places still available after booking late It was ok, but I would look for somewhere different next time.

Short stop

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: The underground parking was convenient and the hotel's location in Harrison Hot Springs was great.
Cons: Better wifi internet connectivity and the odd smell in the hallways.
Location: The lake, pools, beaches, restaurants, pubs, hiking...
We really enjoyed this hotel. For the price, the room is clean and comfortable, however there was an odd smell in the hallway and the bathroom seemed to be stuck in the 80's and could really use some updating.

The hotel was convenient to the wedding

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Location: Easy access to breakfast Sunday morning
Requested early registration, one room was ready and the other two were not, had to dress 5 people for a wedding in one small room - very inconvenient and room card did not work so were held up trying to get back into the room. Registration at 11 pm after the wedding was also inconvenient, but I understand cleaning staff had to service rooms.

Disappointed...very small...only 1 chair

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Lobby welcoming.......good localtion
Cons: Remove big TV cabinet...see that there are 2 chairs in a room.
Found the room far to small and cluttered with a big TV cabinet
