“Lovely overnight stay - no noise”
We stayed for one night whilst attending a party locally so didn't have an evening meal, but breakfast was fine. The room was not overly large but nicely and comfortably furnished - only small niggle was no shower cap for my wife (and I don't like plastic shower curtains!). We didn't experience any of the noise problems commented on elsewhere, even though we were right next to the back entrance door to the car park on the ground floor (and very convenient for unloading our cases). We found the reception and breakfast staff very friendly and helpful - they had arranged taxis for us to and from the party in advance etc, directed me to where I could find information on church services on the Sunday morning (lovely church and splendid vicar - well worth attending), etc. You are right in the centre of this town, so its very convenient. We booked through an internet hotel co, which gave us a considerable saving on the hotel's published rates.
