Tucked away in a small Cotswold village , but near to numerous towns and attractions.
Owners and staff very nice , and the room was so much better than many I have stayed in very clean very comfortable, though the shower takes a while to work but is great once sorted.
Good cooked breakfast to start the day. Evening meals a little expensive but given the location probably on par with the competition.
The room given to us was in the main pub building but no problems with noise etc we were very comfortable.
I believe there are other rooms away from the pub itself in an adjacent building which would be better for longer stays.
The pub itself is an old pile and very nice and comforting with numerous seating areas with real fires .
I would stay again and would recommend without question

Superb location in the quintessentially English village of Great Tew. Splendid pub with a great history and lovely staff, in particular Sarah who really did make us feel most welcome. With walks and beautiful scenery on the doorstep, we will definitely be visiting again.

WE THOUGHT THE HOTEL WAS REALLY NICE,VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE.
THE BREAKFAST WAS VERY NICE TOO.
HOWEVER WE WERE DISAPPOINTED THAT WE WERE UNABLE TO GET AN EVENING MEAL ON FRIDAY NIGHT.
APART FROM THAT EVERYTHING WAS GOOD,WE ENJOYED OUR STAY AND WOULD DEFINITLEY STAY THERE AGAIN.

We badly needed a very peaceful break and we certainly had it here in this lovely house in this quiet location. Nothing was too much trouble for Ann and we loved the house and Ann's dogs. The house feels like a real home and is so comfortable. We had lovely breakfasts and a beautiful and quiet place to just be! We will definitely return for more of the same. Many thanks, Ann!

"Wonderful little bed and breakfast in Oxfordshire"
My family and I loved this place. We only got to stay for a night and the moment we settled in we wished we were staying for longer. The room was clean and and cozy and the town itself was a delight. We had a night cap in the bar and the staff were so friendly and treated us like we were locals. We will definitely be looking to stay here again when we're in that area.

Chipping Norton is a quiet market town in the rolling Cotswold Hills. Peppered with medieval buildings, it makes a convenient base for exploring this picturesque area. The Crown and Cushion hotel was once owned by The Who drummer Keith Moon and a bronze age stone circle, The Rollright Stones, can be found a couple of miles outside town. A market is held every Wednesday.
