"Great hotel"
The hotel seems very new, the staff is very attentive and helpful. Free wireless internet was a great amenity. Room size is rather small as expected in Tokyo. I wish there was a little more closet space. Housekeeping service was very good. It is about a 5 minute walk to the next train station, which is very convenient. The area is very quiet since it is in a side road, so there is no noise coming from the streets.Overall a great experience. I would stay there again.

"very happy guest"
Hi, we stayed for only one night before flying home. The room had plenty of room for one adult and 2 children, the beds were very comfortable and we got a great rest. Staff was super helpful, we needed help when one of the children got sick over night and we needed help figuring out how to dose the medicine which had only Japanese instructions. Also enjoyed the breakfast.

"Central location for those on a budget"
A typical older Japanese business hotel. There is free LAN internet but no foreign channels on the cable TV. The bed is small and not very comfortable. As the hotel is just a couple of minutes walk from a central subway station (Hanzomon) this is a great location.

"Perfect Location"
Perfect Location to all underground trains and Narita Express and tour bus station - If you are planning on any day tours around Tokyo. Near to everything - convenience stores, restaurant, Kitchen street, Mcdonald's, Japanese restaurant and Shopping area just below hotel. Hotel Staff are so helpful and all speak English. Rooms are comfortable, clean, good amenities, free bottled water, Just right for a Japanese standard room. However, English TV channels are limited. Traveled with my family with kids ages 12 and below. Highly Recommended. Thankful for the feedback and reviews here in Expedia.

"Great hotel for Akihabara travelers"
The hotel is excellent. It's close proximity to the Akihabara district makes it one of the best for those seeking to visit Akihabara while not having to spend money on a cab. The rooms are a bit smaller than those most Americans are accustom to but they are very clean and do what they need to do.

"You'd be silly not to stay here!"
The experience at the Grand Arc was very pleasurable. We had a non smoking room on floor 14 (The whole floor is non smoking which we really liked). The interior of the hotel was very modern and sophisticated and was mainly occupied by businessmen, staff were always in perfect uniform and everything was in place. The staff were more than happy to help with anything we wanted and all seemed to speak good English if you don't speak or know much Japanese. The location is pretty fantastic despite seeing reviews that it was out of the way, we found it very easy to get to wherever we needed to be. The views from our room were spectacular, facing onto the Imperial Palace gardens and we could see Tokyo Tower too. The main thing that attracted us to the hotel was the price. For £45 a night for a semi double room this place is a steal! The room size was huge for Japanese standards and we had enough room for our cases and then room to spare. The bed was very comfortable if a bit firm (Like most Asian beds though) and the pillows were fairly thin but it wasn't a problem.

"Top class hotel, attentive staff, close to metro."
Although the hotel was fully booked due to an international conference, the staff was attentive and pleasant. Food was served on time and with a smile. We tried almost all the restaurants while we were there and the food was very good. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff at guest relations went out of their way to help with any bookings for outings or help locating specific shops that we were looking for. The hotel is located less than 50 metres from a metro station which makes it very convenient for getting around the city. I will definitely stay there again and recommend it to others. It is in the upper price bracket but it's history and service make it well worth the value for money.

"Close to everything for your first trip to Japan!"
The hotel staff all know quite a bit of English so it's easy to communicate. There are a couple computers in the rec room and they don't mind you drinking in there if you are sociable and not rude. There is free WiFi on each floor for mobile or laptops. the bath and shower is INCREDIBLE... nice hot bath..... the walls are thin so snoring will anger other patrons.

"Definitely stay at this hotel!"
Tokyo is such a busy place, this hotel is a nice retreat from the hussle and noise of walking around! Being American tourists in Tokyo we were intimidated by such a new culture. But the people at this hotel made us feel so welcome and comfortable it quickly calmed us down. We asked for store locations and were provided with directions, a map and which train to take to get there. We asked where we could buy a certain product and were given a store name, map and directions and which train to take to get there. The breakfast was good and had lots of choices for us. The location is excellent as is it centered between three train stations and close walking distance to Akihabara. When we go back to Tokyo, we will be staying at this hotel again. If we ever go to another location in Japan we would first look to see if there was a B chain. The only downside we noticed was the small bedrooms and hard beds. But we did not spend a lot of time in the bedrooms so size was not a problem. The bed was hard to sleep on as we are used to a softer bed. It felt like we were sleeping on the floor. But overall it was a great hotel!
