"Comfortable hotel"
Extremely comfortable rooms with a nice Japanese touch. Loved the communal massage chairs. Short walk to Suidobashi Station which is great for any JR pass holders. An easy 5 mins train ride to Akihabara. Very friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

"Close to transport and decent breakfast"
I stayed here for a week as a base for exploring Tokyo. It was a good location - Suidobashi isn't a hotspot for tourists, and the hotel itself is set a block back from a main road, so it was fairly quiet. But it's 5 minutes walk to the JR station, and across the river is the subway station, so it's great for getting around Tokyo. The room itself was very nice. It was adequate size; other travelers might comment on how small it is but this is typical of anywhere in Japan. I was traveling by myself so it was no problem. The room had a large single bed, and a washer-dryer with English instructions (washing powder can be bought in single serves from reception). There is a small fridge in the room but I think it only works when the room is powered - ie your room key is plugged in. So it will refrigerate overnight but not while you're out during the day. The staff spoke good English. The room included buffet breakfast, which was pretty good compared to most Japanese hotels: toast, juice, tea & coffee, a salad, and a rotating hot food menu which included fried rice, scrambled eggs, hamburger steaks in sauce, and curry chicken. The room included free wifi which was reliable and worked well.

"Great hotel for Akihabara travelers"
The hotel is excellent. It's close proximity to the Akihabara district makes it one of the best for those seeking to visit Akihabara while not having to spend money on a cab. The rooms are a bit smaller than those most Americans are accustom to but they are very clean and do what they need to do.

"Nice hotel, great views, close to public transit"
We stayed for 10 nights and it was our base for exploring Tokyo and the surrounding areas. We had a room on the 14th floor (out of 17) so the view was incredible, although we were facing the city more than the imperial garden. The rooms don't start until floor 7- it is banquet halls and other things below that - so I'm sure most rooms on lower floors would have a good view too. The room was definitely on the small side, but we were perfectly comfortable. At home we sleep in a full sized bed, and I would say the bed in our room was a little smaller than that, so if you are used to a queen or king you might feel a bit cramped. Also, the mattress felt strangely hard and springy at first, and I thought it would be difficult to sleep on since I prefer a softer mattress, but it actually was quite comfortable, especially after getting used to it for the first couple nights - maybe this is just the kind of mattress they have in Japan? The location could be more central to the downtown areas, but it is only 2 blocks from Hanzomon station and perhaps a 10 minute walk to another station (Nagatocho, I think). There were plenty of places to eat within walking distance of the hotel, too (we really liked a nearby noodle shop called Ibuki). The staff was very friendly and helpful, though their English was somewhat limited. We enjoyed our stay - no complaints!

"Good location"
The hotel was quite close to the Ikebukoro station and shopping areas. It was a little hard to find at first - no fault of the hotel though. Staff were very helpful. The rooms felt a bit small, but then I am 6'2" in height. They were perfectly acceptable rooms and we both enjoyed our stay.
