Sue and Robin made us very welcome. They have a lovely house and garden. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. I would stay here again.

Exceptional stay in ChristchurchPosted Mar 14, 2012
Exceptional. Sue popped us into Chirstchurch to the restaurant we had booked for dinner. When Sue discovered it was my husband's birthday she popped a candle into one of her excellent home made cakes and presented it to him when we returned from dinner.

Absolutely fantastic!!!!Posted Feb 1, 2012
Pros: Attentive service, sparkling bathroom with wonderful amenities, beautiful grounds / views, delicious food and drink
Cons: That we had to leave
Location: Set on 40 hectares not far from airport, amazing views over adjacent ranchlands, estate like grounds without the pretense, casual and very comfortable
Staying at the Clearview Lodge was a wonderful experience. Unfortunately we were only in for an overnight prior to starting a South Island adventure in a campervan - we would have loved to stay a few more days! The hospitality was unparalleled, the atmosphere was casually elegant, the grounds were beautiful and the food was absolutely delicious. The propieters are on-premise and are the consumate hosts and just super nice people. Upon arrival we were made to feel right at home - like we were staying at the home of close friends. They have their own wine label from grapes grown on the property with complimentary tastings (the three different vintages of Pinot Noir and the Port were to die for!). They also make their own olive oil that is simply devine (especially with the homemade dukkah!) and have a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables grown on site as well - we were just in time for the best cherries I've ever tasted! The wine, olive oil and produce are also for sale at very reasonable prices. This B&B exceeded our epxectations in every way and we highly recommend these accommodations to travelers seeking some pampering at a great value.

The best stay at ChristchurchPosted Nov 6, 2011
Location: Queenstown- it is beautiful road to get there and the are is spectacular.
It was very nice place, beautiful garden and very homy feeling. The owners are very sweet and hospitable and always tried to make sure that we have everything. They were very helpful with some advice and they make very good wine and port and you are welcome to have as much as you want :-) We also loved the breakfast and their jam is excellent. Go there and you won't regret !
