“Thoughtful Hosts”

Sherborne Motor lodge exceeded our expectations. Upon our arrival our host showed us to our unit which had the heaters turned on earlier so it was lovely and warm. When we got into bed that night we discovered our thoughtful hosts had turned on the electric blankets for us. This is superb service for a motor lodge and we were very impressed.

“Great modest Christchurch area hotel”

This small hotel has exceptionally clean and comfortable rooms in a quiet area about 15 minutes walk from Christchurch's CBD. The proprietors are very helpful to foreign travelers. Very good value for money and a pleasant stay.

“Will definitely stay there again”

Have stayed previously, will stay again. Wonderful friendly hosts. Comfortable inviting room, handy location, little noise during the evening, well maintained buildings with upstairs balconies complete with table and chairs. Lovely little fernery gardens, ample parking (under shade trees). Most happy to recommend to everyone.

“Nice Motel”

Owner was very helpful. Motel is close to city. Bathroom was good size but was looking a little tired. The inside of bathroom door needed a good clean. The motel rooms were a good size.
