It was very last minute so I was really happy with the accommodation. I felt it did smell a bit damp and the bathroom light wasn't working. I also found a hoodie hanging on the back of the bathroom door.

we were very happy with our stay here. It was quiet, clean and comfortable with easy parking for our daughter who would pick us up each morning and drop us back at night. We did mention to the receptionist that the shower was too hot. To get it to a reasonable temperature the force of the water had to be excessive. But we are looking forward to returning on our next visit to Chch.

So many issues with this place, definitely would not recommend. First of all the electricals fried my partner's phone as soon as he plugged it in to the wall. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by an extremely rude man at reception, so rude I wanted to walk out and find somewhere else to stay, unfortunately after travelling all day the rest of the family just wanted to rest. Disgusting boogers on the wall next to the bed and cobwebs everywhere. No sound proofing between floors so had to listen to stomping above our heads all night. Overall I won't be staying here again and would suggest to anyone considering this place to find somewhere else.

Very comfortable room with lots of space upstairs and down. Awesome shower with incredible pressure!! Some wear and tear with room amenities. Found Bealey Avenue incredibly noisy at night. Parking was a bit tight and tricky to negotiate.

Great situation we could walk everywhere!! Comfy bed with nice clean bedding. Friendly housekeeping staff. Furnishings very rough with holes and no springs in sofa. I would not even put furniture like it in my dunedin student flats! There were no fans in bathroom or kitchen with mould on ceiling. Unit did not meet healthy homes specs. The owner asked me to discuss any issues with her which i did but she was defensive and made up excuses.

We really enjoyed our short stay. The Receptionist was lovely and helpful. The premises was clean, tidy and homely. It could do with an update though however that did not take away from the hospitality or comfort. We would stay here again. Thank you Team Southern comfort xox
